Top address, top rooms and top staff. I was just passing through, but I nevertheless enjoyed the atmosphere. That makes you want more, also with regard to Schwerin. I would love to come back here. 🙋👍

TERRIBLE PLACE! They don't know what hospitality is at all! RUDE STAFF! I have never had so many bad memories. This hotel treats you as a client, not as a guest. If you want to avoid the stress please don't stay there! NEVER AGAIN. I am sure that you find much better place!

An easy to find, and quiet hotel. Not much sound outside. Easy to rest out after a long drive 😴 Very nice rooms, that have a cool design and a premium feel to them 👏 People who work here are nice and welcoming. Parking inside hotel garage. Price is ok, but I believe it would have been cheaper to order through booking.com. Will recommend!

Nice room, very bad service!!!We booked a Comfort Plus room from October 3rd, 2024 to October 5th, 2024 for a higher daily rate than stated on the hotel's website. The reason for this was certainly the Day of German Unity on October 3, 24, which Schwerin organized. The entrance to the hotel is via Brunnenstraße and is also the entrance to the Brunnenstraße car park. There are extra spaces reserved for the hotel on the 2nd floor, which are marked. Checking in was very, very strange, I have never experienced anything like that in any other hotel. The young lady was very friendly, but at the end of the check-in I was supposed to pay the total price for the 2 days immediately!? When I asked why this was like this in the Premium Plaza and I had never experienced this in all my previous hotel stays, the lady said the following. You as a hotel don't know me and I could leave sooner without paying for the room!!! How outrageous is it to accuse me, as a guest, of being an unworthy person, a criminal who would check out secretly and not pay the bill!!! Especially since there is a sign from the hotel in front of the elevator on the 5th floor asking the guest to pay the bill via express checkout in order to avoid waiting time on the day of departure!!! Suddenly another lady comes out of the back room, who certainly heard our conversation at the reception. The second lady asked the first if she should check in with me, but the first said no. She can handle me. Here again, it's nice how the guest is treated. I stood at the counter and heard the conversation between the two women very well. I felt very uncomfortable, also because other guests were standing next to me and certainly heard everything. I wasn't loud, I wasn't rude either, I was just exercising my right as a guest to ask why I had to pay at Premium Plaza Schwerin before the services were provided. I also cannot understand the statement that there was an upgrade to another room. We had booked Premium Plus, which is shown in the pictures on the hotel's website with the small kitchen and the double bed, without an additional bed. The Amadeus restaurant is in the breakfast room area and you can eat there in the evening. The breakfast is sufficient, but not justified for 17 euros per day per person. The waitresses at Amadeus in the evening and at breakfast are foreign citizens who are very friendly and very polite. Unfortunately, there were no German employees who could have been contacted if there were language problems. In the evening the tea was forgotten. In the morning, things like milk weren't refilled, the space between the jams wasn't cleaned and, worst of all, there were flies on the quark, which was of course unpleasant for the guests. When I thought things couldn't get any worse, I was far from it. For understandable reasons, we didn't want to have breakfast on the second day, which we had paid for when checking in, and canceled it, this time with a gentleman. Now I thought that if I had to pay on the first day, I would get the money back for the canceled breakfast. But far from it. The hotel will take at least 14 days to check whether I will get the money back for the service not provided. How can it be that I'm being accused of cheating on the bill and disappearing without paying, but I have to wait for the money for the unused breakfast. Something is wrong in the system and this is definitely not hospitable!!!All in all, something definitely needs to change in the hospitality, the guest should not be forced to pay for the entire stay on the day of arrival and the cleanliness is questionable.

In my opinion the best hotel in Schwerin. All rooms have air conditioning, there is a restaurant, the food is very good and the breakfast is good. As a hotel guest you can park in the underground car park at a special price. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Many rooms have lake views. However, you have to book this or you have the corresponding status with the BW Rewards. I'd love to come back when I'm back in beautiful Schwerin. It takes 15 minutes on foot to Marienplatz, 20 minutes to the old town, and about 16 minutes to the castle.

Unfortunately the place doesn't live up to the promise of the name, I expect a little more from a Plaza Hotel by Best Western.Basically, the hotel makes a dignified and clean impression, but unfortunately you're not allowed to take a closer look.Unfortunately, the door to our suite could not be closed normally and quietly; we had to keep it closed.Our neighbor probably felt the same way, which created an unpleasant background noise.The room itself was attractive and spacious.Unfortunately, we immediately noticed unsightly grease fingerprints on the microwave.Unfortunately, the cleaning team missed this, as did all the dust on the cupboard.The typical places, e.g. behind the doors, were unfortunately also forgotten.It was also unpleasant that one of the armchairs in the great patio with a view of the lake had a tear in the cover.It's a shame that only the guests notice something like this.The bed was okay, unfortunately the topper is only placed on it and moves very easily.Otherwise it was a pretty nice room, which unfortunately suffered from the unfavorable first impression.Unfortunately, the breakfast was nothing to be proud of.Although they advertise that breakfast can be had until eleven o'clock on Sundays, unfortunately everything is no longer available at ten o'clock and nothing has been refilled.Unfortunately, the windows in the breakfast room/restaurant were anything but clean, so I would never have taken them off, and the window sills were also uncomfortably dirty.Finding a table was no longer easy at this time. Either it wasn't set, or there were still used dishes and trash from the last guests on the table.As we left the room, we said goodbye to employees walking past, but received no further reaction other than stares.We would have expected something like, “Have a nice day.”In general, we didn't have the impression that we were welcome guests, but rather uncomfortable work.The usual phrases were also missing when checking out, for example: B. not asked whether everything was satisfactory.For this hotel category, the price and the name, it was unfortunately very disappointing overall.

Good spacious clean rooms. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is large and you feel comfortable. The service is generally nice, but sometimes a bit unprofessional when people laugh at guests in their presence.In a 4* hotel you would have expected a gym or a constantly manned reception.Parking costs €11.50 per day

We booked the panoramic suite for 8 days. Facilities pompous. Unfortunately, despite the room notice, we had to warn that there was no cleaning and twice! We got to the hotel around 4 p.m. and it still hadn't been cleaned.After tel. The room service then issued a warning.Unfortunately we discovered that there were no plates or cutlery available, but there was a microwave...????

I went on a short vacation to Schwerin with my best friend.Our choice fell on the Plaza.We had a wonderful time there.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you had any questions or requests, you could help us at any time.The whole hotel complex and the rooms were very clean.We are already looking forward to the next vacation we want to go on and to staying overnight in this beautiful hotel. Especially since we heard that it is going to be remodeled and that there could soon be a wellness area.I can't say much about the food since we ate out ourselves, but the restaurant in the hotel was very busy every day and the food on offer seemed very high quality and tasty. Regardless of whether you are a girlfriend, a couple or a family, everyone can have a wonderful time there.
