First off: Meyers is a gorgeous hotel. The breakfast is amazing. The staff is warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, during our stay, the room we were in had a bad bed bug infestation that we learned about too late.By the second morning, I noticed over 100 bites on my body and my husband noticed some, too. We saw bed bug casings on the nightstand and in the headboard. With that number of bites and finding the casings, we have a very hard time believing it was due to us bringing them to the hotel and are disappointed that the issue was not discovered by housekeeping. The room was #28.The hotel was very kind and immediately jumped into action once we noticed them: they sent our clothes out for treatment, they refunded us for our stay, they moved us to a new room on a new floor, they allowed us to enjoy open bar. We so appreciate them doing what they could to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.Since leaving, we’ve been debating whether to leave a review mentioning this issue given how incredibly they handled it. But, ultimately feel it’s important to note what we encountered.I’m confident they’re handling the issue as a hotel to prevent further guests from having our experience, but I’d recommend doing an extra comb of your room to triple check there are no bed bugs.

This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay during our recent trip to Berlin. To begin, I made our reservation through a third party. …

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Myer's Hotel Berlin. From the moment we arrived to ask if we could leave our suitcases we were given a warm welcome by Knut at reception. What a friendly and interesting guy. …

We stayed here for 5 nights in early June, time enough to really assess a hotel. Myers excelled. The front desk staff, especially David, are super friendly, efficient and helpful. …

I stayed a week at this wonderful hotel in a very pleasant area of Berlin. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the housekeeping was flawless. My room was clean and quiet and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was amazing and a great way to start the day. The spa in the basement was phenomenal. I enjoyed the garden, the bar, and all the common areas. The artwork throughout the hotel is extremely well done. I highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here any time I visit Berlin.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We were greeted by a lovely older (not old) man, who made us feel very welcome and upgraded our room. We had a spa bath and rainfall shower, plenty of space and the air conditioning was a blessing for summer. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the courtyard garden is very peaceful. Brilliant location, highly recommend! 5* Dankeschöen!

This is a lovely hotel, tucked away from the street. Nicely decorated in both the public spaces and our room. The hotel has a small elevator, which was a bonus, as we had stayed in a hotel a few days before, that did not.  …

Th hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance from parks where kids can play, close to EDEKA and other grocery stores. The rooms are big for Europe — we loved our spacious rooms equipped with everything we needed. There is even access to a nearby gym for those who feel the need to exercise/stay in shape. The breakfast is great too and the hotel staff really goes out of their way to make their guests happy. I’m already looking forward to stay here again next year.
