The hotel is amazing, a lot of to do and see really and be fast to the hotel. My room was really cozy, and I really felt confortable there. Awesome Decoration at the bar, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Highlight is the breakfast. I came each day earlier to enjoy sitting close to the window, with the best quality items. Also the service was amazing, taking care I always have coffee. By check out, they make feel like at home, and I wish to come back soon

Stayed in this hotel on the 5th floor. The rooms were clean and spacious and it was quiet. The staff are friendly. There is a bus halt right about 30M from the hotel which is very convenient. We were given water free of charge on the first day, but from the second day onwards it was €5+ per bottle. Overall, a good hotel to stay. Didn’t hear any construction noise on the 5th floor.

Wonderful and chic hotel located in the heart of West Berlin. The U9 line is just outside the door, and one can find many other busses, underground and overground trains within 10 minute walking distance from the large Zoologische Garten station. Breakfast was top notch! Both public areas and our rooms were extremely clean and beautifully designed, all recently renovated in good taste. I read some reviews mentioning troubles with WLAN - but we experienced no such problems. The hotel garage was unavailable, but the receptionist instructed us to park inside Metropol garage which is right in front of the hotel, there we paid 13€ per day, which was actually much cheaper than we expected (in another hotel in Berlin we paid 25€ per day a few years back) so we were happy about this solution. Everyone from the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. And one other tiny thing, I really liked the smell of the shampoo and soap - I understand this is a Brand Standard, so private customers cannot buy them... So I will have to come back to Radisson Red to enjoy them again. Thank you for a great time!

The hotel is new and modern, but has a warm and elegant feel to it.Central located just 10 minutes walking from Zoölogische Garten station. So train, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and busses are nearby. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and beautiful decorated. The beds are good.If you are a light sleeper I would suggest getting a room courtyard side. The street Infront is busy and across the street is a nightclub that opens at 11:00.You hear some bass coming from it. Altho the sound insulation is great, you will hear it.Breakfast is good, more than you need. The restaurant. It has no name yet because they are still fine-tuning it.The dining room looks beautiful and there is a courtyard to sit and eat as well.Head-chef Giovanni and his team are enthusiastic and determined to give you a great tasteful experience. His passion and drive to create the best food is something I don't see every day.We let Head-chef Giovanni suggest his best food and he suggested the homemade Ragu (spaghetti bolognese). It was out of this world.Simple but fresh and so tasteful. It reminds me of a ragu i had in ItalyHis desert of macarons or the fresh fruit with his pistachio's Nutella was amazing. So a special thank to head-chef Giovanni. All and all a great experience, A hotel and restaurant we will return to.Side Note: We hope we will be able to buy those bear t-shirts, they are great as a souvenir.

Only reason I am giving two starts is for the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel should not be open yet, it is not ready and it makes the stay unpleasant. I can understand that the breakfast is not ready yet but the wifi was a big problem as most guests are business travellers who found themselves with no internet connection in the middle of the week, the shower drain was clogged and dust from renovation was everywhere. The shampoo bottles are glued to the wall and two of them fell right away before we use them.I understand preparing to open is difficult but the hotel is by no means ready to receive its guests.

This hotel is not ready yet (7/2024) to offer accomodation. On the seventh floor there is renovation going on. The drilling began at 7:30 in the morning thou the management told that renovation goes on between 9 - 20. So there is no change for rest during daytime. The hotel didn’t inform about the renovation at their homepage nor during the check inn. Only one elevator in the sixth floor is ready for use. Big disappointment.

A Memorable Stay at the Radisson RED Berlin KudammWhen booking a hotel, one typically dreams of a restful retreat, a sanctuary away from the daily grind. With the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm, my expectations were no different. The online photos and descriptions painted a picture of modern comfort, complete with a gym, a hearty breakfast, and the promise of serene luxury. As my wife and I soon discovered, our stay was quite the adventure, filled with both challenges and delightful surprises. Our arrival was met with the realization that the hotel's WiFi was unsecured. While this was initially concerning, it encouraged us to disconnect and truly enjoy our surroundings, something we often forget to do. Also, the door to our bathroom wouldn’t close properly unless one engaged in an elaborate door-slamming ritual, which I'm sure provided endless amusement to our neighbors. The highlight of our mornings was the ever-changing breakfast offer. Although the free breakfast was removed without notice, the prospect of a €25 fee made us explore the local cafes, leading to some delightful culinary discoveries just around the corner.Perhaps the most egregious deception was the advertised gym. This was a key selling point for us, and discovering it wouldn’t be completed until September was a bitter pill to swallow. It’s one thing to overlook minor inconveniences, but this felt like a deliberate misrepresentation, at least as it is listed on Booking.comOccasionally, we were woken by the sounds of drilling and hammering. It seems my talent for picking hotels amidst renovations remains unmatched. Then there was the curious case of the disappearing toilet paper—housekeeping seemed to operate under the assumption that a single roll could last indefinitely.Towels provided an unexpected adventure in themselves. Twice we were handed towels bearing red lipstick smudges and, horrifyingly, brown stains of an indeterminate nature. Clean towels should be a basic expectation, not a luxury.Quality sleep was another elusive promise. The pillows were of such poor quality that sleep became an exercise in futility. Coupled with bed sheets that were as slippery as a politician’s promise, staying in one position became an overnight battle. Our mornings began with sneezing fits due to dust, but this also led us to keep the windows open, filling our room with fresh air. Even the tap water had a chlorine tang that was more reminiscent of a swimming pool than a refreshing drink.Amidst the challenges, there were genuine highlights. The room was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches like USB-C and USB plugs. The LG TV with streaming options was a delightful feature, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The provided steamer instead of an iron proved to be incredibly practical, making our stay even more comfortable.Checkout, at a merciful 12 PM, allowed us to pack at a leisurely pace (who knows maybe they will change that suddenly for other guests to come). Despite some minor inconveniences, the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm provides good memories for amusing stories to be told in the future
