The walls are very thin so you always hear people coming up and down the stairs. Some of the workers some of whom I think are owners can be rude. Ran into my room to take pillows from it because I brought a pizza up. Told me not to sit on the couch back as I was standing aside for them to clean the lobby.

Small but charming hotel, located within walking distance of the train station. Beautifully appointed rooms, delicious buffet breakfast, and wonderful staff. Located in the Japanese area of town, so if you're looking for delicious sushi in the city, you're steps away. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff very helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast was great, every morning they will make you fresh scrambled eggs. Other breakfast items aplenty and big Croissants, you shouldn't go hungry! Nice coffee too! …

Amazing staff and cozy interior. Breakfast is more than worth its price. If we have a chance to come back to Düsseldorf we would definitely stay here again. There’s no slippers (probably normal in Europe) so recommend to bring your own.

Stayed here for 1 night last weekend. Check in was quite straight forward. The parking is €12.50 a day. The hotel is divided into 2 hotels. We stayed in the "Lady Astor". We had a lovely room. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side, but it was okay. I really had a good night's sleep!Breakfast in the morning was really good. Scrambled and fried eggs are made to order, which were really scrumptious. On the breakfast buffet you have everything a good buffet has to offer. All of the staff(including the domestic!) are really nice, efficient and always have a smile on their face.It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Königsallee and about 15 minutes to the Altstadt. Or you can take the tram, it's only 2 stops into town.I recommend this hotel, we definitely will be back!!!

This is an elegant boutique hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with some thoughtful amenities. Every day a piece of fresh cake is delivered to the room. Such a treat! The staff are very friendly. I would love to stay here again.

Very nice hotel: breakfast staff was very friendly, room was decorated lovely and well kept, lobby looked good and cosy. Location is also good, close to the Japanese neighborhood (with many restaurants). Breakfast was good, quite a selection of fresh fruits, colt cuts, other breakfast items, bread and you could get fried or scrambled eggs.We had to leave 1 night early as we were feeling ill, we got a 20% discount on the night, which was nice.Only thing we were disappointed in was the service of the older gentleman at the reception. Upon checkin already a bit arrogant and upon checkout even worse, when we mentioned we had to leave early, he sighed and rolled with his eyes and did so every time the phone rang (3 times while we were standing there). We did not understand the invoice with the discount, so we were just trying to figure that out and he did offer to explain again and he did explain it, but in a bit of a condescending manner. He was obviously not having a good day. He also told the 2 room attendants in a quite rude way that they now need to clean our room. We work in the hospitality industry, so this was just very awkward to see.

Lovely, quirky hotel. The main furnishings were lots of clocks.|Room was a little cramped, but the bathroom had a brilliant shower, fast and there were 2 attachments|Breakfast was good, but you need to be exactly on time, which we were. God help you, if you were late. Clocks everywhere in the dining area.
