Sadly a disappointing trip. We booked this for our wedding anniversary & they did not even congratulate. The room was dirtier then expected, the breakfast nothing special, Location out in the nowhere and the service was pushy. We just went to the reception and were told a long speech about booking the extra lunch offer and restaurant dinner of the hotel, at that point we just arrived, didn’t even see the room yet or settled down in any way. The sad part is even our gym we go to has a better steamroom and swimming facilities. Overall not worth the expense, there is much much better hotels for the same price & even less. It was quite disappointing & we definitely won’t come back. The only good feedback we have, is the decoration outside, and the one Service staff member who was very nice & friendly.Regards

Generally a nice hotel, a castellorette. It is romantic, lots of corridors and steps: easy to get lost 😅. The green had lots of chances to cover the walls and roofs, that’s nice. A place with a nice soul, like in France: also a so-so maintenance. It’s a little bit outdated here and there. The outside pool and inside pool are nice, clean. The hotel has a clean appearance. Outside there is some works, not noticeable on the inside. Big parking lot. The food didn’t impress me: it’s not bad, just normal. In my opinion the price is too high, we spend 900 for two nights, full board and some wines/water. Didn’t see children, but that’s ok for me.

It was disappointing experience totally, I would never advise it even for my enemies!! The place is dirty with urine smell in the sauna Showers, the Sauna either to hot or too cold.. the steamer is full of gooey stuffs and not hot enough. The biggest thing is they locked the Sauna on me at night and I was shouting for HELP for one hour till someone from the people the upper rooms heard me and called the Reception.it was completely a nightmare. They don’t even offer you free water in the rooms!!Also, they accused me of ordering wine at dinner time and I didn’t!!!I hope this message will be delivered to the Owners!

I rented this hotel for my birthday, for a few days. When I arrived it was a bit difficult to find the reception because it is deep inside. I talked to the person at the front desk and was escorted to my room on the way telling me about what the hotel has. When I mentioned it was my birthday the receptionist just said "uh-huh".The room was very far from the sauna and restaurant and it was a long walk, although the rooms closer seemed free. The lunch appetizers and evening buffet were very good, although expectations from the photos were still higher. Drinks are not included in the buffet and are sold separately. It is about this hotel to charge extra money. Imagine, in a hotel with a spa, and I was specifically looking for options "all inclusive" I was not even given slippers. But you can buy them in the store for 30 euros 💀Swimwear can be bought for 50.The sauna was not as hot as I expected, but I found another one in the yard where I could warm up well. The pools are not bad. Service in the restaurant is mixed, there are both awesome waiters and those that will annoyingly and aggressively (sorry, I have social anxiety) ask what room you are from or other questions to find out who you are or whatever. It freaked me out, I didn't feel safe.In the pool and sauna lockers for 2 euros (you get them back), ummmm, I don't carry money with me to the sauna...Overall impression I would express in the word disappointment. Not a strong one, more like just with regret. It's a shame for my birthday to be like this. I was willing to pay more money and paid for all inclusive to just relax and not think about money at all, ended up thinking about it all the time. When I wanted snacks and tried to call the front desk to order it turned out the phone didn't work, and when I came on foot and stood in line in my bathrobe, the receptionist asked me what room I was from, ignored my question and gave me a check and said I had to sign for the bill at the restaurant. When I asked if he ignored my question he said, uh, phone? We'll take it into account. Snacks he said they didn't have any. I said the new rooms come with brezels, so maybe they do? No.3 for rooms, they are nice, bathroom is with stones, this is cool, but they’re too small and for me it was too far away from the other areas2 stars for service for the nice waiter who smiled beautifully and made my evening a little brighter and a receptionist who walked with me all the way to the saunas through all the tunnels. (And for nonchalant staff, who seems just too busy and care more about their business stuff than about their guests)4 for location since it’s close to Düsseldorf and you can rest here without a tiring long ride and you can enjoy nature hereupd. On check-out they asked me to list every things which I used in the minibar. So I had to wait for them to go to my room and count everything or to remember all by myself even though my transport shold have arrived soon.Could be a great place, but administration service is too poor. The restaurant is the only thing that keeps hotel afloat imo

Single room beds are very narrow, as if for children.|All information is in German, so if you speak English, it's not enough.|Because it is an "ecological hotel": |*There is no air conditioning and they don't clean the rooms. …

This is the most expensive hotel I’ve ever stayed in and frankly I was a bit disappointed. The main part of the building is nice, but the area with the standard rooms felt very dated. Overall there were very few nice little freeextras for guests and I would say only the staff in the restaurant really made you feel like you were really welcome. The spa area is quite nice but a bit cramped and in the pool area none of the jacuzzis were heated so they were unusable. I have paid half as much to stay in other hotels that were better in my opinion. It’s a shame because it could be a really amazing place.

My partner offered me a night stay in this hotel for my birthday and we had high hopes considering the price of the standard rooms (220 euros!). It was a real disappointment, with a room that was outdated (very old bathroom!) and not even heated when we arrived (the old fashion heating system made it difficult to warm up even after a few hours). The spa could also do with an update (the jacuzzis did not function) and the service was overall a let down. For this price you would expect a few nice touches but I can’t say there were any…even trying to have a drink at the bar before dinner turned out to be complicated (we had to ask the reception who said they didn’t know if the bar was open). The dinner buffet was very nice but not included in the price (and quite expensive - 50 euros / person) so I would say the overall experience was not good value for money. If you want to treat yourself with a nice hotel stay, please look somewhere else! Probably a good hotel for business conferences but not for a special occasion. I would recommend to come for the dinner buffet only rather than for a night stay.

I booked a four-night stay at this hotel for my father. The location was good but we expected better from this hotel after paying over 1200€ including breakfasts and dinners. The rooms were catastrophic for this price, no air conditioning in 30 degree-days, rooms were not cleaned not serviced during my father’s stay. He did not have two out of four dinners because it was too hot to stay in his room in the evening and wait for his dinner - but the staff did hesitate to charge 10€ for water and insisted on him paying.
