Very nice rooms, and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful, it wasn't in person, everything was over the phone because I'm a truck driver and worked the night shift, but everything worked well and the location was very nice

AKZENT Hotel Saltenhof: Beautiful rooms, shame about the restaurantDuring our walking holiday we spent a night at the AKZENT Hotel Saltenhof. The rooms were very clean and tidy, just what we needed after a day of walking. We were able to sit on the terrace with a book, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to water damage. That was a shame, because we would have liked to have dinner at the hotel. The nearest restaurants are somewhat difficult to reach on foot. There is a pizzeria in the village next to the hotel, and with a bit of luck another restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday.The breakfast buffet was well prepared. There was plenty of choice, including freshly baked rolls and scrambled eggs.Despite the setback with the restaurant, we still had a nice stay at the AKZENT Hotel Saltenhof. The rooms were excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. We will definitely come back, hopefully the restaurant will be open again!Pros:Very clean and tidy roomsComfortable bedsBeautiful environmentMinimalist breakfast buffetNegatives:Restaurant closed due to water damageLimited dining options in the area within walking distanceConclusion:Highly recommended for a walking holiday in the area, provided the restaurant is open again.

We spent 2 nights here and were satisfied. Very nice hosts and family friendly. The hotel is a bit older, but has its charm. Of course you can see age everywhere if you pay attention to everything. Due to water damage, renovation and improvisation are now required. Rooms are currently in the outbuildings. Rooms were a bit small with two extra beds but it was enough. Breakfast buffet was offered. Not a huge selection, but ok. The location is outside but very quiet and idyllic. The price wasn't cheap, but it was still reasonable.

When I arrived at, or rather, AM Hotel, I was greeted outside by a member of staff who showed me a room in a separate building.He pointed out to me that the main building had been out of service for months and that I couldn't eat in the restaurant in the evening. He confirmed my suspicion that I might not get breakfast either. Yes, I probably have to drive somewhere in the morning if I want coffee! Then he got into a car and disappeared. It's a good thing I asked - that would have been a rude awakening.I didn't even move into the room! That was too scary for me, completely alone “in” the disused “hotel”. And it wouldn't have had the slightest vacation value for me.There is no information about these conditions on the hotel's homepage. The hotel is difficult to reach by phone and if you do, you are told you will reach someone the next day. The hotel doesn't respond to emails at all. My request for a refund has also been ignored so far.

We were there for Christmas brunch with 14 people. We were well satisfied. Food was good. Reloading could have been a little quicker. But otherwise everything was delicious.

So you can tell that everything is getting a bit old, there are defects here and there, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was okay, the room was quite okay, there are missing strips on the ceilings and you could see a lot of water damage in the hallway. Bathroom Smelled like wet dog and every time I closed the door the door handle came off. So the pictures don't quite match what is on offer!!!! The house is very noisy!!! And the children's playground is a disaster, I have to say, broken trampoline and playhouse. So now 1 star for everything, the bed is a bit creaky and the mattress is hard, which I think is a good thing. But there's a lot that needs to be done here if you keep an eye on everything. So I wouldn't recommend it if you ask me!!!

The rooms are really fine! Were there for a weekend! The breakfast on Saturday was a disaster, the sausage was already gray! Half of the receptionist's family went to the hotel with us!

I have stayed in many hotels but none come close to the AKZENT Hotel.I never had anything to complain about during my stay.I would love to come back.EVERYTHING TOP 👍👍👍

Had a gilded frosted apple cake with coffee/cappuccino on the terrace for just under 10 euros per place setting. The restaurant had opened 15 minutes earlier and the strawberry cake was already gone (?). The apple pie hasn't completely thawed yet. The selection of cakes was already exhausted.Since the service was very friendly, I wouldn't recommend a visit.

This hotel radiates everything. Peace and quiet and is highly recommended in terms of food and service. The comfort rooms in the annex are clean, spacious and fully equipped. Our stay felt great and we will be back.

Disappointing isn't describing it. Booked through the company because it had a free breakfast included. Two weeks stay and haven't seen a single piece of bread in the morning. When asked, they said that they can't see it included. Asked for a kettle. Zero response. Around 7am all doors locked everywhere so couldn't even get a coffee. Mould in the bathroom and mice in the ceiling. Wow!Nice area though!

I haven't been to the hotel yet. When I first explored the ambience, I wasn't really convinced about this location. When you cross the bridge where a crooked lantern/lamp eke out its existence in beautiful sunshine, the first thing that catches your eye is a forbidding “private” sign. The building ensemble was probably divided. Private property on the right, the actual hotel on the left. The architectural style gives me something to think about.

A large display “coffee and cake from 2 p.m.” beckons on the cycling and hiking path. When you arrive, you find yourself standing in front of locked doors without any sign, the outdoor areas are unkempt, and nobody expects guests here. On a sunny Friday afternoon in May.

The pictures and what is described are not reality. The hotel is in dire need of renovation. Despite booking, the hotel team was not prepared for us, not open to criticism and also not willing to offer us alternatives to the hotel room we complained about. The hotel room had an unpleasant, musty smell (smoking room). Unkept outdoor area. Outskirts of the industrial area.
