The hotel is in a very good location and there is free parking. Service is good and we were welcomed very nicely.The bathroom has some flaws in the tub and sink. I don't think it's that bad, but the dirty bathroom and the sticky bedside table did make me extremely disgusted. The mirrors in the bathroom were poorly cleaned and there was so much dust on the small mirrors that couldn't have been from a day. The toilet seat was dirty, the towel was stained and there were also disgusting sticky stripes outside the bathtub, right next to the toilet. The breakfast was great. If I hadn't realized when I checked in that the hotel was overbooked, I would have asked for a new room. Maybe we were just unlucky with the cleaner in our room, but when it comes to cleanliness in a hotel you can be sensitive, because in my opinion that is the top priority for feeling good.

Since I am an event organizer, I often check into hotels in the morning after consultation with the hotel and then book a late checkout. This is also the case at the Achat Hotel in Bochum. Both the room and late checkout were booked and stored in the system, and the room had already been paid for in full.When I arrived at the hotel today, I was greeted in a very unfriendly manner by Mrs. Wabadu. She said I would be lucky if the hotel still accepted me because they had already canceled my room. She had to spend a long time organizing that I even got a room, even though everything went as advertised. However, I verifiably announced in advance that I would only check in early in the morning and for this reason I verifiably booked a late checkout at 2 p.m. So actually everything went as planned, but the hotel was absolutely unfriendly and treated me as if I was causing problems, which was absolutely not the case on my part.When we left after the late checkout, the same lady from the reception started another discussion. She said she couldn't / didn't want to issue me an invoice, even though I needed it for professional reasons. Here, too, it was about the arrival early in the morning, which was demonstrably planned and coordinated.I will explicitly not recommend the Hotel ACHAT in the surrounding event locations in the Bochum and Dortmund area; under these circumstances it makes no sense for organizers to stay there.

Unfortunately our stay was a disaster. As we walked into the room, we were greeted by paint licks in the hallway and four holes in different locations in the ceiling for a sprinkler. In addition, the room was incredibly hot because the curtains were not closed. A fan with bearing damage that squeaked happily with every revolution was supposed to provide us with cooling. When I entered the bathroom, I thought I'd been shocked: rancid shower curtain, black rotting ceiling panel, a ceiling panel with a large hole torn out. The absolute height was the approximately 0.5cm thick mold all around the bathroom fan. I then took pictures of everything, immediately left the room and went to see an employee. This route alone turned out to be difficult because the elevator was no longer running and we first had to look for a stairwell/escape route. When we arrived at reception and I explained the situation, the only answer I received was that a refund of the money would not be possible, even though our stay had not lasted an hour. I then tried to do something via the booking portal, but the same answer came from it.Very unfortunate and very annoying!

I recently stayed at the ACHAT Hotel Bochum Dortmund and was completely thrilled. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway and is easily accessible from both Dortmund and Bochum, making it an ideal location for business travelers and tourists alike.I received a very friendly welcome when I checked in. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was pleasant and professional without seeming impersonal.The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a restful night. There was also enough storage space and the WiFi connection was stable and fast – a plus for business travelers.Breakfast: The breakfast buffet at the ACHAT Hotel was excellent. It offered a wide range of fresh, high quality food including a variety of breads, cold meats, fresh fruit, yoghurts and hot meals.I would like to give special praise to Ms. Seemann - nice, friendly and helpful - a reflection of very good service!Conclusion: The ACHAT Hotel Bochum Dortmund convinced me in every respect. From the excellent location to the friendly service to the comfortable rooms and the excellent breakfast - everything is perfect here. I can fully recommend this hotel, whether for a short stopover or a longer stay in the region. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I was in Bochum for further training and ended up at the Achat Hotel. The day starts there with a really good breakfast. The service ladies radiate infectious happiness. They cannot hide their joy in their work. That was a good start to the day 😊

So my wife and I went to see your musical.We were very impressed with the rooms, large enough, smartly furnished, bathroom very clean, everything was good. BUT it's not just people with dust allergies that bother me, you should also wipe a little dust under the bed every now and then. Then I have to say the bed was super comfortable, great for sleeping, but a married couple in love shouldn't get too active in the bed because the bed has wheels at the head end (I think that was the wrong way around) and is not fixed to the wall as it seems and then it makes a lot of noise. 😉😉.. The faucet in the bathroom was quite loose, every time it was turned on and off, it turned so maybe everyone could see through it. The breakfast was great, everything you could wish for and the staff throughout the hotel were super nice without any ifs and buts...The only real point of criticism we had was unfortunately neither you nor the meditherme next door had electric charging stations up in the Ruhrpark Center but they were all permanently occupied or out of order...we will definitely come back because everything else was great thrilled and thank you for the pleasant, beautiful night

At the end of August we stayed two nights at the Achat Hotel Bochum.The room included a bathroom with a bathtub in which you could also shower. The only drawback here was that we had to remove the plug from the bathtub so that the water could flow away. Otherwise the room was clean and spacious.There are enough parking spaces on site as there is a thermal bath next to the hotel. Parking is free here.Unfortunately, on the first morning we had to wait to get to breakfast because all the tables were occupied (Sunday morning). However, we didn't have this problem on Monday morning. However, the breakfast left nothing to be desired, so there was a generous selection.Near the hotel is the Ruhr Park with many shopping opportunities.All in all, I would stay at the hotel again and again.

The rooms are very tidy and, apart from the tap, which was always either off or on at full power, it was in great shape.In my opinion, the breakfast is one of the best I've had recently as someone who spends at least 4 nights in hotels every week and the ladies are very friendly.The only problem is that all the room doors lead to the main room and the design makes it extremely loud.Out of 4 nights I couldn't fall asleep before 1am...There was always an immense volume down there until at least 0:40.This is just not great, especially when you are traveling for work

From the outside in! There are enough parking spaces and larger vehicles can also find space here. Reception and hotel bar are only a few meters apart. First impression, simple, not very appealing. Staff friendly, but quite inexperienced for four stars. Corridors and corridors are worn out, old and in need of renovation. Rooms are OK, cleanliness sufficient. Breakfast - everything available, ambience none, staff tried hard. Conclusion, if you just want to stay overnight, it's okay, but price performance is questionable given the increased costs. Four stars, ok but not in any European category.
