Great location and just right for simple overnight stays.Unfortunately, when we arrived, the code we received by email didn't work, so it turned out that you just had to call so that you could get the correct code and be briefly explained how everything worked (the receptionist was very nice and friendly, by the way). ). At this point I would like there to be a simple note that you should call directly so that you don't try out your code unnecessarily often. The hallway is extremely lovingly decorated, it's really fun to walk through and finding the right room is very easy. The room itself was also very nice and homely furnished. Everything was very clean and we immediately felt comfortable. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the next morning that we noticed that the refrigerator (which is unfortunately a bit small; minibar) didn't work and our food was heated rather than cooled (room 2). It's a shame about the food, that's why only 4 stars.Otherwise, as I said, you can't complain at all. It is very quiet at night, despite the nearby motorway. The Lidl car park remains open overnight, so you can park there at any time. Also very practical, of course, is that the Lidl is right below.Thank you for this great night!

It was extremely loud at night. But that was less due to the guests and more due to the street noise directly in front of the rooms (not even the highway)

Original location on the roof of a supermarket. Reception could be reached by phone at any time. And although the room wasn't luxuriously furnished, it had everything we needed for a short city trip.

If you're not from here and want to go to the trade fair in Dortmund or Essen, this is a well-located and functionally furnished apart hotel and the prices are okay too 😉 upstairs are the rooms and underneath there's Lidl and a bakery across the street

Very nice room, but...Personally: I don't travel often and I'm not entirely up to date with what's going on in the accommodation industry.1. I would have liked a notice that it is a hotel without staff on site.2. The fact that it is better to pay for the hotel in advance or on site using only a credit card or mobile phone (PayPal) is clear from point 1, but I did not read it on Google or on the reservation confirmation. It almost became my undoing.3. No internet and therefore no television programming. Even several telephone conversations with the "reception" in the neighboring town did not help to animate the television to colorful images. Concluding later, I would say that the error was already known, not necessarily to the staff on the phone, but it wasn't a new defect.4. After a pleasant night, I wanted to take a shower. No warm water (I thought). Prejudiced, what went through my head was: "No internet, no TV, well, why would hot water work?" I probably would have been better off calling again. There is a water heater in the bathroom that you have to switch on, I found out during the final interview. I didn't know that, but it makes sense, it's very ecological and economical. There is also a sign, not so small, right on the water heater, but if you (I) don't notice the water heater, then the sign with the writing the size of the leaflet isn't helpful either.A large sign in front of the mirror perhaps?5. The craftsman or interior designer who is responsible for the space for the television should be reprimanded. Neatly anchored, but unfortunately in such a way that the neighboring cabinet takes up a not insignificant part of the screen. In the end it didn't matter, it didn't work anyway. Conclusion: In my opinion, a nice place to stay overnight. In principle, and especially when there are no people in the house, a clear form of information transfer before and during the stay is very important; it offers a lot of room for improvement.

A cool idea to open a hotel above a Lidl. 3 stars for that. The location is very central but right on the motorway. The Lidl is also always busy until 9 p.m.Certainly suitable for an overnight stay. Also a good choice for craftsmen doing assembly work. It is probably not designed for a longer stay as a tourist.
