Anyone who didn't understand the charm of the 80s in this hotel was either born after 1990 or is only used to high-tech! The rooms are old, yes, so what! Everything is well maintained, super clean, nothing broken or rotten! No tiles broken, no joints, black (mould) nothing, I love the 80s, I'm 64 years old 😉 and I'd love to come back! And the innkeeper, as some write, is great, it's an original 👴🏻 just like a Franconian should be 🤭

The hotel is on a busy street which leads to noise at night. The rooms are very old furnished. The shower head is calcified, at least in my room, and the heating is warm but only lukewarm. Just like the water that only gets lukewarm. Positively you get a decent breakfast in the morning (boiled egg, cereal, juice, rolls, bread, jam, Nutella, sausage and cheese,... For the price I would definitely not travel here again. Sometimes the owner is from the hotel and sometimes very moody. When you put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign, it actually means that you won't be disturbed, right? This is not taken into account in this hotel and the room is cleaned even though you didn't want it!

A great hotel. Top price. It is family run. I particularly liked this warmth. We would be taken care ofThe breakfast is to die for. Everything we needed for a good start to the day was there. Rolls, fresh coffee, eggs. Everything prepared with love and passion. And best of all, they love pets. As always, we had our dog Oskar with us. No problem here, drama in other hotels. As if we had plague and cholera in our backpacks. We're coming back for Beer Week and we're really looking forward to it..

Very old room furnishings. Fridge, TV, Wi-Fi is all available, of course old, small and free. Shower head is a little calcified or dirty. Lukewarm water to a little warm water is there. You can hear dripping all the time even though it hasn't rained for a few days. The room is cleaned well, but I did NOT want this. I had put a sign outside saying DO NOT DISTURB. Nevertheless, the room was made... There is also a hairdryer.

If you like the charm of the 60s and a cat at breakfast, this is the place for you and you would like a visit from the hotel owner, despite the please do not disturb sign.

The hotel is a bit old but OK. The room was clean despite its age. The age was more noticeable in the sanitary area. The silicone seals on the shower had stains, the shower head was a bit calcified, there were limescale around the faucet and the fan was defective. Unfortunately, the minibar didn't have more cooling capacity than a conventional car cooler and was about as loud. The operator was always nice and friendly.
