A bit old but the food was very good. The specialty are the various Cordon Bleu dishes, even in XL which is almost impossible to make. The service was very nice and accommodating. I can't say anything about the rooms because we only ate there.

The three of us stayed here by motorbike for 3 nights in June. The hotel is no longer up to date, but there are rooms with a balcony, a great view and clean beds. The selection on the menu is very extensive and everything is delicious, so many a chef can take a leaf out of breakfast as well. The service was very pleasant and friendly. We wish Mr. Müller all the best.

Well, the restaurant itself is getting very old...We were all the more surprised by the very clean and well-kept guest room, the extremely friendly service...And the food and the selection of food with, among other things, around 10 different “CORDON BLEUS” convinced us....WE WILL COME BACK.....

One of the best Upper Franconian inns!If you want to experience honest Upper Franconian life, especially table culture, go to the Restaurant and Hotel Sonne in Würgau.Always very good, be it the food, the friendly service, everything is perfect!

Food was delicious, both Western Cordon Bleu, Schnitzel Burger or normal Schnitzel with fries.XL variants deserve their title, you should be hungry. But it's great that the option exists!The ambience and furnishings are a bit outdated, but that doesn't change the quality of the food and didn't bother me personally.

Stopped there for one night in September 2021. We were happy to have found a double room at all. From today's perspective, the furnishings of the rooms are already very old-fashioned, here and there there is something modern in the room, but the overall impression should be improved with investments. But the biggest joke happened to be my mattress; as soon as I laid it on it, I felt a steel spring in my ribs. That does not work at all! Luckily there was a third bed in our room with a better mattress, which I then replaced on my own.The fact that there is delicious beer in bottles was very commendable for me and the food we ordered was very, very filling and tasted excellent.The morning breakfast was of a good standard and definitely sufficient. The ambience of the rooms, however, is old-fashioned like in many old inns.

First there was a highly recommended pepper trout for dinner and then we slept in a simple but clean and very quiet room. The breakfast was also good - for an overnight stay with breakfast, €80 is really a very fair price
