Had dinner there yesterday with the whole family. The dining room is very old, but the prices are even more expensive. The food was very lightly seasoned and the side salad was definitely not edible. The worst thing, however, was the behavior of the boss, who initially argued loudly with his employees in the kitchen. Unfortunately, it was impossible to ignore the fact that it also involved unclear finances. All in all very unprofessional and we definitely cannot recommend this place.

There is by far the tastiest carp here!!!Everything is prepared with a lot of love - many restaurants can learn something from this. Service is also TOP! We always enjoy coming here.

The two of us stayed in two single rooms in the guest house for three nights. The Resengörg is centrally located in Ebermannstadt, you can reach everything in town on foot. Both the main house and the guest house look appealing from the outside, but the charm of a bygone era is particularly noticeable in the guest house. First of all: you could sleep well in bed. The bathroom skylight had a gap through which rainwater was coming in (see picture). The rooms themselves were exemplary clean and the boss took care of everything from morning to night. However, the need for investment here is clear.

We were there for lunch. The pork medallion was average, the trout was completely dry, the side salads were not clean. All in all, not a good meal, especially for the relatively high price. In addition, the overall impression of the guest room and backyard terrace is quite dingy. We cannot recommend the inn. It is also unclear how the positive reviews come about.

The food was simply extremely bad: the sauerbraten was extremely dry and three wafer-thin slices. The side dishes, dumplings and red cabbage, tasteless. But my wife's big mixed salad was a bit cheeky: several of the ingredients were definitely canned. And the dressing looked and tasted like slightly colored water. Probably the first salad that my wife left behind. Pathetic...

The service gets three stars because I was helped immediately when I could no longer open the safe. The location of the overnight stay is ok so far. There are several houses to stay overnight. The room was really very simple. After all, we paid €244 for two nights with breakfast!!!! Cobwebs in the bathroom on the ceiling and in the room. Everything is getting old. At breakfast the only plate of smoked trout was left outside the refrigerator!!!the iceberg lettuce garnish was brown...was not a pretty sight. The entrance to the half-timbered house, which is beautiful from the outside, is a fiasco! A mess, a mess for me. Everything is really lying around there...a terrible first impression! What used to be a small reception area is completely full and loaded with mountains of paper. And now, in my opinion, the “regulars’ table” in the restaurant is full of rubbish and is being used as an office because there is no space in the small reception. The counter is also full…..a bad energy with all this disorder, I really have to make that very clear say! If I had to work there, I would leave after a very short time... I don't think that works that way!

We had a different kind of experience here. After all, a candidate for the worst restaurant visit we have ever had. We wanted to have lunch with the little one (1.5 years old) before the steam locomotive ride. The sign “Biergarten” attracted us. The “beer garden” is a kind of small winter garden at the end of the house. Completely untidy (various things were just lying around), dirty and totally uncomfortable. Orders were constantly forgotten or mixed up. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed, sometimes overexcited, others phlegmatic. Everything is very strange. The food was really bad. Salad crunched between your teeth, chanterelles were like rubber, dumplings were inedible and the red cabbage was simply forgotten and didn't arrive until very late, even when asked. The bill was also forgotten twice (despite the request to bring it quickly because the train was leaving). A knife was placed within reach of the little one at least twice - catering employees should know that this is dangerous. To add to the absurdity, an employee (or boss?) who was driving way too fast almost killed a child on a bicycle right in front of the "beer garden" in front of our eyes and, as he got out, blamed him in front of us in order to justify himself .We really don't have excessive, but rather normal expectations when it comes to visiting a restaurant, but that was really bad. Other reviews go in a similar direction.

Kitchen is a complete disaster. At a funeral service, 10 guests were served rotten fish………I strongly advise against this restaurant.
