We stayed at the hotel for a week in April, 2024.The rooms lack a mini-fridge and microwave.In terms of service, they only emptied our bins and changed towels; there was no vacuuming or mopping. Additionally, they did not replenish shampoo or soap after the second day.The hotel is located next to the Church of Saint Andrew, and it can be bothersome as its bell sometimes rings for over two minutes, particularly at 5 am. This can be especially problematic if you have a child and are trying to overcome jet lag. Since the city is small, the city center is not a big deal.

We spent one night here on our way through.You probably can't have a better location in Selb. But that's it for the positively remarkable features of the accommodation.The contact with the staff for the purpose of booking was rather sobering. Apart from ready-made email templates from the booking system, there wasn't much to be gained (even with specific questions).When we arrived within the specified check-in time, contrary to expectations, no one was there. The code for the Key Boy was then given over the phone. Here too, the warmth was manageable.The room was fine. Furnishings are more run-of-the-mill than lovingly put together.I then had to make the payment in the café, as there is probably no reception. Even then, I didn't really have the impression that I was showered with hospitality. The gentleman who was responsible here should perhaps think again about whether “good morning”, “please” or “thank you” could find a place in his vocabulary.It's not the worst bar ever, so a well-intentioned 3/5. But if I can help it, I won't stay here again.

We were completely satisfied with our room. Not noisy at all. The breakfast was delicious and the selection was great! The staff was courteous and friendly. Great for a stay in Selb. We found the location in the city to be very good.
