We slept and ate wonderfully. The room are big, nice and clean. Food is very tasty. The staff is really super friendly, you immediately feel welcome. Unfortunately, they do not have rooms on the ground floor, so it is less convenient for the disabled. For the rest it is highly recommended

Excellent country hotel with great cuisine. The service is very attentive. As a fish lover, I definitely recommend the char as a starter followed by an excellent beer.

First of all: The service (operations) cannot be criticized here. I will go into detail about the points of criticism that lead to points being deducted. We were traveling as a group on a bus and had made reservations for the evening, including a 3-course menu. The main courses were agreed upon in advance and sent to the inn.My biggest criticism concerns 2 main points:1. Process/kitchen organization2. Horizon of expectations for the foodTo 1.)We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and took a seat. After a short time, the service took orders for drinks and organized the serving of the main courses. What is incomprehensible, however, is that the first course (soup) was only served after 1 hour. Soup is a dish that is prepared by every kitchen and is quickly available. The guests were already very hungry and impatient at that point. Another 30 minutes passed before the main course, so it was served around 8 p.m. This is already very late, especially for older participants. The main course was also sufficient in quantity and, after being hungry for so long, it left us feeling a certain degree of satiety. Unfortunately, the sumptuous dessert was served just 10 minutes after the main course. The service has already picked up drinks for dessert - that's really good. I really don't understand how a pre-ordered menu can be served so untimely and late, especially when everything is ordered in advance and without any special requests. To 2.)The inn advertises the successes of the son and the senior (medals, awards, best young chef, etc.) on every corner. In this respect, you don't just expect very good, but outstanding cuisine. Maybe we arrived here with too high expectations - but we were somewhat disappointed in this regard. Other participants in the tour group, who also like to eat well, were not really convinced. The pumpkin cream soup was tasty, there is nothing to complain about here. The main course was relatively disappointing for us. There was a choice of brook trout on vegetables, pork medallions with mushrooms and venison shoulder with red cabbage, cranberry jam and dumplings. Below is the feedback we collected from guests:- Deer shoulder: Positive: The meat was buttery soft, so it was impeccably processed. Unfortunately, we both found the taste of the meat almost irrelevant. In contrast, the cranberry jam had a very intense taste and therefore completely drowned out the deer's own taste. Unfortunately, the well-prepared sauce could hardly contribute or support the taste in terms of taste. We were actually disappointed with the red cabbage, too acidic and unsuitable for the dish. The vegetables with the fish were too weak, advertised as grilled vegetables, the zucchini were more like steamed without any roasted aroma. The pea and celery puree was good. The crunchy tomato butter is a clever idea, but added little to the dish. My counterpart was only moderately enthusiastic about the pork medallions; the sauce and taste of the meat were “okay”. The dessert platter was a good variation, well made in terms of taste and craftsmanship. The eggnog foam and the chocolate mousse were my favorites. The sorbet served is of course a matter of taste. I would have liked a smaller portion because the taste was really intense and acidic. It was actually too strong for most people - but I don't want to interpret it as a negative because I'm not a sorbet fan.Overall: The food here is solid, of good quality and probably meets most expectations. However, if I had had to pay the regular price for the deer, for example, I would actually be very disappointed. In Franconian Switzerland, for example, we ate much better without being advertised with medals. In the individual ranking, the service gets 5 points - the ladies were precise and attentive.

The rooms are rustically furnished, relatively large and very clean... there may be a renovation at some point... the food was great and we were able to eat in the beer garden in the courtyard... the staff is always very attentive, friendly and has a sense of humor. .. the place itself is very quiet and idyllic...The breakfast buffet is varied and generous...It should be mentioned that there is a parking space for cars, but it is locked in the evening... but there are some parking spaces nearbyWe thank you for a nice and relaxing weekend...Thank you 👍🥰🤩
