The hotel 🏨 is very centrally located in Bamberg and can be used as an ideal starting point for sightseeing around the city. Parking is limited at the hotel, but costs €15/night. Breakfast also costs €15/person and is served in the Scheiners restaurant opposite. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very small and in my opinion not sufficiently lit. OK for one or two nights, but if I'm in Bamberg for a longer period, I'll choose another hotel. Reception was only manned briefly when checking in, otherwise I didn't see anyone there. Entrance is from the back of the building.

The location of the hotel is ideal for a city trip. In the middle of the old town, near the cathedral square. Check-in and breakfast took place in the restaurant opposite; there is no reception in the hotel itself. The parking spaces, which can be booked for €15 per day, are intended for smaller cars. The hotel is a bit noisy and small things need to be repaired (window, shower door...).Of course it is very loud in the evening, but there are earplugs on the guests' pillows^^.Perfect for a short trip as you can reach everything on foot. Nothing for a longer stay. Breakfast was available between 8:30 and 11:30 (but wasn't replenished after 9 a.m.).The cleaning staff were very nice and also provided us with coffee capsules for the machine in the room.There is no elevator, so you should be able to walk easily.It was perfectly fine for 2 nights, but not longer. The beds were very soft and squeaked a bit.But the view and the proximity made it all worth it :)

You are right in the middle of the action. Our room had a SW orientation and was therefore fully exposed to the evening sun in the summer. So very warm. Sleeping with the window open requires a good night's sleep, as you can loudly hear everything going on from below the hotel.Parking spaces are rare and the underground car park is more suitable for small cars.

Nice hotel right in the center of Bamberg. There are many restaurants right nearby. The rooms are clean and a little quieter if you are higher up.The parking garage that comes with it takes some getting used to, especially if you have to go through the crowded pedestrian zone to reach it on a Friday afternoon or Saturday. Most cars can fit in the garage itself as long as they are not too heavy.The breakfast was also very good and there were a few special little things. And the staff is friendly too.

The hotel employee at the reception, if you can call the counter in the restaurant opposite a reception, is not at all motivated and friendly.Room 31 cannot be locked.Cleanliness is poor, the tooth glass is still smeared with toothpaste from the previous owner.The rooms are hot and you have to be able to live with the party noise until 4 a.m.The room cannot be completely darkened because the night curtain is too short.Hotel is not recommended because the operator doesn't care about anything.

Very unhappy with the service and installations. In the very first night the room and the hotel had power outage, so from the time entire second day the room was lack of power and internet was down! Hot water did not work till the third day of our stay! It is difficult to get a plausible explanation from the staff, as they have no reception desk in the very building where we were lodged (people doing the reception, check in are in the restaurant across the street!). Breakfast is also very limited for the value it is asked, as you have lots of better alternatives around! Room where we stayed had no air conditioning and is pretty hot at summer nights!

It is possible the hotel was once 4 star. Now it is a hotel without reception.The guests are left to themselves if there are any questions or urgent challenges.The room is worn. The shower is defective. Lack of towels and napkins after morning cleaning.The price of parking did not meet the standard of the place.The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff super nice.The bed, duvets and pillows were good.

The hotel has a really ideal location. But that was it. Of course the room wasn't at all like the photos and the bathroom is in serious need of renovation. Parking costs 15 euros a night, which is an incredible disgrace because you park in an underground car park with such narrow spaces that there are fragments of taillights everywhere and garbage cans are stored there. The whole car smelled really annoying after 4 days. And since you don't meet anyone to hand over the key and not during the day, there was no room for questions or asking for repairs. Toilet seat loose and room door broken.

We stayed in Bamberg for one night and the location is really good. You could park in a narrow garage for €15 a night. Check-in is opposite in the inn. Rooms were also ok, a bit old, you could still invest some money - especially in the bathroom. But as written, everything is good, doors are very thin, when people come into the hotel at night you think they are standing in the room. In the morning you are woken up by the noise of construction sites and deliveries by trucks.The breakfast for another €15 was unfortunately very disappointing. Although you eat in a beautiful old dining room, that doesn't make up for the baked rolls, the dry scrambled eggs and the limited selection of fruit, etc. The service was also quite brief and refills were very spartan. It's a shame, but for just under €100 per night you can expect a little more.

Nice hotel in a best location.Right in the old town, with a view of the cathedral forecourt (see photo). Our room door was broken, but I would still recommend the hotel for a weekend in Bamberg. Everything is friendly and uncomplicated, you just look for peace and quiet here in vain. ;- ))

A hotel without a reception. You can get the keys from the shop opposite. This will be communicated to you in advance in an email.The hotel is clean but is getting old. The double room was big enough.The location is very good. Everything is within easy walking distance.
