We were only there for 2 nights. The rooms are well and practically furnished. The beds were good so we could sleep well. Our room had a sensational view of the old town. Breakfast is served a little further away in another hotel. Not a problem for us and given the nice weather, but you should be able to walk well because it goes up.Checking in on the computer was a bit problematic for us, but that may have been our fault. That's just not for everyone.Nevertheless, I can recommend the hotel.

Got a very cheap price for staying Sunday to Tuesday. For that deal, the conditions are amazing. The room was big and comfortable. Beds were okay, everything very clean, spacious bathroom and a kitchen inside. Only detail is it only had a big pot. A small pan would make it much more convenient. Note that there is no receptionist, just via telephone, but everything was clearly explained via email and check in was fast and easy. We were very satisfied.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. Normally I'm the kind of person who doesn't write reviews, but what happened to a work colleague with me here at the Economy Hotel Kronach.... is simply unbelievable. We booked through our company's internal system (Concur), which does everything for us. When we arrived at the economy hotel there was a machine waiting for us where we had to log in with the last 4 digits of the booking number. This worked for me too, but unfortunately not for my work colleague. After consulting with Concur (who couldn't reach anyone on the 24/7 hotline), our decision was to book a single room (€88 and is more like a room in a youth hostel... at least there is air conditioning), regardless of our system. When we came back from dinner, my colleague's company laptop and bags were in the hallway!!! I would like to emphasize again in the hotel hallway (this is a clear violation of privacy). The hotel double rented the room and told the person who came after us to leave their personal belongings there until someone came knocking. This is an absolute no-go. After more than an hour late in the evening we were helped and my colleague was given a new room, which was very noisy and had more of a youth hostel charm.Communication with this "hotel" is also very difficult, billing requests are forgotten and then sent to other email addresses as specified and in general it seems as if no one considers themselves responsible.We as a company will avoid this hotel, although we will be there often.

I don't know if you can see the photo but the bed was dirty and used! THEREFORE MONEY BACK!!!! You check in and then SOMETHING!!!! It doesn't work at all!!!

I want to share my impressions of staying at this hotel. Everything was perfect! It was very convenient that there was no need to contact the reception, thanks to the clear instructions and available amenities. The room was very clean and cozy, and the feeling of comfort never left us for a moment. Overall, everything was super great.The location of the hotel was excellent: it was perfect for exploring the entire city, and all the main attractions were within walking distance. We also appreciated the parking and the good Wi-Fi.The only thing to note is the absence of a frying pan in the kitchen utensils. It would be wonderful if one could be added. But this is a minor detail compared to the overall impression. Everything was top-notch!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Since we didn't expect much for this low price (35 euros for 2 people), we were pleasantly surprised. Large, bright room with a small kitchen. Hotel is centrally located in the beautiful old town. Since you can check in using the machine, we weren't under any time pressure because of the time. Didn't arrive until around 7 p.m. Would definitely come back if we are looking for a travel stop.

€200 for a three-bed room is a joke for this category. You can charge double prices in Munich for Oktoberfest, but not in Kronach and for this quality!The rooms are shabby, all the furniture here urgently needs a coat of paint, and the bathroom could also be brought up to date. If you like the shower curtain to stick to your body when showering... this is the place for you.No service at all, check-in is done at the machine, no breakfast.The receptionist's statement when asked why they charge twice as much for the room: we'll be full.Every day some stupid person gets up!

Pleasant hotel. Room size (4 people) sufficient. Everything was clean, automatic check-in was easy.I got breakfast at the bakery around the corner. Coffee is available in the hallway for €1. There are enough parking spaces and there also seem to be two charging stations (not tested).Visit again: double room, only one towel. TV has no reception. Both charging stations defective. The door has a large gap on the side so you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway. The outbuilding is brightly lit from the outside and the windows can only be darkened slightly. The room is therefore bright enough to read around the clock.Only 1 towel for 2 people in a 2-person room. After the second night there was a room cleaning and another towel was brought.We will therefore test the new hotel in Marktrodach on our next visit to Franconia.

If you don't mind the springs of a sagging mattress pressing into your hips, this isn't the right place for you.Another positive thing was: good location, clean room, smooth booking and check-in.Negative: TV channels can hardly be received at times (the picture always stops for about 5 seconds and there are picture disturbances). And again: for the price of almost €90 (without breakfast) there should be a little more mattress awareness. Another guest confirmed to me that this Discomfort mattress is not an isolated case.

A good hotel for a quick overnight stay. Check Inn machine easy to have at hand. Rooms nice and clean. Service hotline friendly and solution-oriented. I can recommend for a short-term overnight stay...Negative, Check Inn only with card payment...
