The reception at this hotel was very pleasant and we were given tips on various places for dinner. The room and the bathroom were also okay. Only the breakfast was a big drawback for me. The selection at the buffet was completely okay. Unfortunately, as a tea drinker, I was in a real mess in the morning on 3 out of 4 days. There weren't enough tea glasses, teapots or similar on site. Even when I asked the staff, nothing was available. Teapots, some of which were there on site, were not clean. There was a large selection of tea itself. Coffee drinkers had it a lot easier.

The Taste Hotel is ideally located for trips to the old town. Hence 4 stars.The rooms were clean upon arrival, anyone who wants it cleaned during their stay must register it. If you don't do this, your trash will be emptied and possibly fresh towels. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff has no chance! Far too few staff for the number of guests. Replenishing the buffet is also a challenge for the staff. There is hardly any descendants here either.The selection is always the same.Breakfast could be better if the guests showed some consideration and didn't freak out over every little thing and leave something for the other guests.The hotel doesn't have a bar, which is a real downside. The drinks machine is a disaster either partially empty or overpriced. If you're looking for a stay for 1-3 days to explore the city, you can do so here, with a few caveats.Above all, I wish the Taste had more staff and perhaps a renovation of the external facade.

A very uncomplicated hotel, next to a park and therefore quiet. I was there for 5 days and found it very pleasant. Rooms with everything you need, a breakfast where everyone can find something and very friendly and helpful staff.City center about 15 minutes away on foot, train station 10 minutes.I liked it and would come back.

An outdated hotel. Rooms without any special comfort. Not recommended for groups as there is no bar in the evenings. Breakfast is simple and either from a canister (juices) or from a can (fruit salad). About 20 minutes to the city center for dinner. Not going here again

This was our second time in Kulmbach at the Taste Hotel. Due to its convenient yet quiet location, the hotel is particularly suitable for short trips. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's great to lie/sleep in the beds. You can start the morning with a typical hotel breakfast. Everything is there, was you need. And you don't have to wait because there are enough places available.Overall, a stress-free, self-explanatory hotel that you would like to stay in again.

The rooms were large, clean and newly furnished. Overall a good price/performance ratio. A small refrigerator would have been nice and we would have liked air conditioning on the hot days. The rooms were very heated. There was a place to store bicycles, which we found very good.
