Lovely quiet place, okay, every half hour a honking train passes by, but if that should be an objection.Lots of space, good and neat facilities,Please note: first contact the manager by telephone when you come, the office is only open in the morning.Also be well informed about the showers.Furthermore, dogs are allowed, as far as I understood, power points everywhere.Various hiking options in the area.Play area for children and there is a swimming pool, but this was being renovated during our stay.Shops can be found in the neighboring village, 10 minutes by car or half an hour by car.Nice place, we would love to come back!

Large campsite on the Rur. The owner is extremely friendly and explains everything to you.The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained.Only the pool was out of service.Tourists simply stand on the large lawn. Everything very informal.Would love to come back

Very nice campsite.We are always at the campsite with our group.The operators are very nice and very helpful.All in all, a bit old, but still in good shape.

Spacious campsite in a beautiful location. The campsite owner is clear and wants to help you. The campsite is very quiet during the week, there are many caravans of regular guests, but they are empty so if you like peace and quiet this is a good campsite. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained, a downside is that it is not always open at 10 am, which is indicated. The showers are very far away and you pay 50 cents for 5 minutes, but because you have to put coins in something outside the shower cabin (from then on the 5 minutes starts) and then you have to take off your clothes. very little time even though those 5 minutes are paid for. The toilets on the field look clean, but I don't know if that is the case because I have not seen anyone cleaning them in 4 days. The location and the view are beautiful

We were at the campsite for a long weekend. Great landscape, with a beautiful view! Sanitary facilities are outdated, but very clean! The nights were quiet! Swimming opportunities are available in the form of a small pool.10 km further is a beautiful dam with swimming opportunities!

Arriving within 20 minutes was apparently not fast enough. We didn't get an extra minute. Finally got there after 20 minutes and there was no one there.

I was with a group of 14 people in tents, and all I can say is beautiful area, very quiet and good prices. The owners are extremely nice people and very understanding. We had a very nice and relaxing time.

Not as quiet as we thought it would be. Trains stop at midnight and start (complete with siren) at 0450. Airport must be nearby somewhere as well beyond midnight planes flew overhead. When no trains/planes it is a very peaceful place. Services adequate but as others have said, a bit tired. Very chatty and pleasant owner. Pitches spacious and fairly level, on grass so possibly soft in heavy rain.

I've already been here twice this year with my bike and tent to spend the night. Well, I wouldn't have come back if I didn't like it!Great location, nice welcome, clean sanitary facilities, a cool Bitburger... it wasn't the last time I was here!The opening hours of the reception alone are a bit short - but if you're smart, you can be there on time ;-)I want regular breaks and working hours myself, so I give everyone else the same!

A nice, well-kept place at fair prices. Very nice large camping meadow in the upper part of the site with electricity and water. All around you have a wonderful view of nature or sand-limestone cliffs. The sanitary facilities are old but well maintained and clean. You can reach Heimbach in 15 minutes by bike.

What a cool location! A very nice, quiet campsite where we will definitely come back again. Not too far from the Netherlands and yet it feels like you are on the other side of the world. We had the entire field to ourselves, which is really wonderful with 2 large dogs! It looked deserted at first glance, but they were eventually helped. Owner was very nice. Nice campsite!

Very large meadow with lots of space for tourist campers. But the place is more for long-term campers.Depending on the space, you should take two cable drums for the electricity. There are also toilets on the lawn.Sanitary facilities are only available at the entrance. These are very old but it works. Unfortunately, the showers are far too small and hardly any space. No shelf, just an old plastic chair that acts as a shelf and is always gone.Location and view 5 stars.sanitary facilities 2 to 3Bread service only on SundaysNo catering

Campsite is very clean and quiet. Check-in was uncomplicated. The check-in booth was a little tight, but otherwise everything was well organized.

A beautiful place, perfectly located with a train connection, but still quiet. Direct river access for swimming.Points are deducted from the extremely unfriendly, distant, very aggressive campsite owner, who apparently needs to annoy guests in order to feel better for his self-esteem. Very unpleasant interaction with guests, I felt very uncomfortable around him, especially as a woman.The woman, on the other hand, is nice and friendly.In principle I would come back, but this man just doesn't work.
