We were invited to the 1 year anniversary party. The many guests enjoyed the setting with music and performances by a saxophonist on the terrace. The kitchen provided a variety of snacks and the bar had its hands full. It was a great atmosphere.THANK YOU to the hosts Klaus and Christian Ortlieb and their entire, very attentive and friendly team.Monika and Rainer Wester from Lake ConstanceWe would like to come back to this well-run hotel in the future

We were back in the restaurant for the first time after the change of operator. The card sounded very good, but also very expensive. We ordered tuna carpaccio, Wagyu burger and beef fillet. What was on the table had nothing to do with good cuisine. The tuna was two pieces of tasteless fish cut into thicker slices. The balsamic vinegar used is of poor quality and tastes and smells extremely like vinegar. At least that gave the tomato slices a taste, because they were also tasteless. The whole thing was garnished with a poached egg. However, that was on point. The fillet and burger paddy were also pretty tasteless, the mashed potatoes came out of the bag and the whole thing was available for 95 euros.I have rarely eaten so badly (perhaps never before) for so much money

Yesterday I had dinner in the restaurant with my colleagues. The atmosphere is very nice, but unfortunately I was completely dissatisfied with the food. Everyone's food was lukewarm and the menu I ordered didn't come to the table in its entirety. First the meat with spaetzle, then after a while the sauce was added and at some point when I had finished eating, the red cabbage came. The service was informed of the deficiencies but they were not addressed. For the very high price, the quality and quantity should also be preserved and not something like that.

Rooms are new and nice, parking spaces are available for customers, although unfortunately they were all full.Unfortunately there was no water bottle in the room, but it was delivered straight away without asking. No USB charging sockets or alarm clocks in the room.

Rooms OK. Narrow bed. Awkward sliding doors. Breakfast fine, dinner too expensive and bad. Do not accept Amex due to high fees. Amex may be accepted for that price. Staff not very empathetic, certainly not service oriented. Next time I will take another hotel.
