I was a bit hesitant to make a reservation here after reading some of the older reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised during my stay. The room appears very modern and everything seems new. It's decently big and has everything you need during your stay including a small kitchenette. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was squeaky clean. The check-in process was simple and I was even able to get my room a bit earlier than the stated check-in time. There's also a grocery store located in the same building and transportation links (bus/tram) are located across the street. All-in-all, a great stay!

Room inside not bad but ground floor in front of the loading/unloading of the penny market, therefore very noisy from morning to 6am, considering that in the evening until 2am a group of drunks stop under the windows, (this was the case for all 4 nights we stayed). Windows that you obviously can't open and are without air conditioning. There is only a small fan.Plus the location is decentralized....Definitely avoid.

We were in Munich to attend a concert and found this accommodation great. Everything was super clean and in perfect condition. The location to the Olympic Stadium was very good and in the evening we had a very good Greek meal almost opposite. There is also a good bakery for breakfast nearby.

Central location.Rooms are very warm in summer and you can't open the windows because it's very loud from the traffic.Otherwise it was clean and uncomplicated.Perfectly ok for a few days.The parking lot behind the house needs to be better lit.

We spent one night here and were absolutely satisfied. First and foremost: the lady at check-in was incredibly friendly and warm. Thank you again for the nice welcome :) The room was large, with a small kitchen including Tassimo and very clean. We can only recommend it!

Arrival was easy. The room was nice but a bit untidy, clearly traces of the previous occupant. Own kitchen was a plus and useful on a longer trip. It was a really peaceful location and I could sleep peacefully at night. It was convenient to have a store downstairs and a trolley stop directly in front.

Everything was perfect for us, ladies at reception, super nice - room with kitchen perfect and tidy, clean! Air conditioning available but not used, room facing the main street, it gets loud in the morning with the window open, but when closed it is quiet!Penny market more or less in the houseOlympia Park - Stadium - Hall can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, but of course MVV also runs!

catastropheOur room wasn't ready until around 4 p.m. Still dirty and there are remnants of the previous one. Disastrous communication with reception.We were there for an hour and then left the room and looked for a hotel. Staying there with a small child would have been unreasonable.

Unfortunately, we did not speak to anyone at reception.Could have called, but didn't. The TV in room 115 did not work/acted strangely.Furthermore, excellent location. Public transport on your doorstep every now and then.Penny supermarket really next door.

Where to start? When we arrived the keys didn't work so we couldn't get in the room. We had to wait around 30 min for them to solve the problem but they let us in, so no problem... Yet. They hand us a security key while we waited for the new pair of keys and told us there will be troubles if we lost the keys as it was a special key what we got at the mindtime . But OK, they solved the problem.The place has a local supermarket downstairs.... Which seemed very convenient at the beginning.... Well it is not. Even though we told them we were staying with a baby... They had the brilliant idea of giving us a room on top of the unloading area... Not to mention that it is also on top of a gas station and apparently the party people and the drunks of the area likes to drink in that exact corner.... So sleeping was basically impossible.But you could have close the windows? Well not really as it was 30 degrees inside the room.It was not really difficult to get to the centre of the city and the area is easy to move around. But being on top of unloading area and a gas station makes it far from a pleasant experience. I guess we cannot blame them for the noise outside. But we could blame them for giving us that room. The hotel was basically empty. We have not much to blame about the service but if you are unlucky enough they will give you the worst room to stayand they could have put us just further from that area.

Not too bad. Once you get used to public transports it is not very far from the station and town centre. The area felt a little bit unsafe with drunk people on front of the building and a lot of noise at night. The room was alright, not 100% clean. I was lucky to be on the other side of the building and not on the side of the street. The reception was always closed, never got any information about the city or even a welcome from the staff. The rooms are not cleaned unless you are staying for a long period of time. The safe was making strange noises so I ended up pulling out the (leaking) batteries out of it so it would shut up. Overall I would say try to find a place closer to the city even if you end up paying a little bit more, I almost booked another hotel after 2 nights there.

This boarding house is definitely recommended. Our rooms were absolutely fine: everything seemed fairly new and was decently maintained.The location is quite central (tram station right in front of the door) and is certainly an ideal starting point for a city trip. There is a supermarket right in front of the house and a gas station next door. This didn't bother us in any way, it wasn't loud nor did it smell of fumes. Went here as a family with two children and had a good stay. I can well imagine booking an apartment here again on a future visit to Munich.
