The hotel is chic and very well maintained. I usually don't sleep well when traveling, but this was different. I slept wonderfully. The breakfast was great, the service was great.

Stayed here for three nights. First impression was very good- beautiful building with very friendly and helpful staff. The girl at the front desk really spent time recommending us places to visit with restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and modern. However the sensor in the room for night light switch on every time we go to the toilet during sleep. It’s simply too bright and we kept waking each other up. The staff helped us tape the sensor with paper and tapes but it doesn’t help to stop it. The pillow is also not comfortable at all. It’s very fluffy but once you lie on it it becomes so flat with no support. It’s a long pillow so all the feathers just go to the side so it feels like you’re lying on the mattress without a pillow. The toilet also makes machine noise every time you sit on it. I don’t really know what it’s doing. Overall its a very beautiful modern hotel with very cool modern technology, but I would personally prefer them to just keep it simple, invest in good mattress and pillow, instead of all these new difficult technology that actually doesn’t make life better.Gym was great though very high quality equipment.

I had a average stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring. The highlight was definitely the breakfast—lots of variety and great quality.The only downside was that when I checked in, there was no bellboy, so I had to carry my own bags. Guess it’s always good to get a little workout in before relaxing!

Check-in offered so much info about the hotel and local attractions. Rooms are beautifully done and thoughtful. Lounge is huge and offers a lot. We did not try the restaurant but it looked nice.

I was surprised that the hotel was relatively new and the rooms were modern, with TOTO washlets in the toilets. Since I am a Titanium member, I was grateful for the upgrade.I'm a glutton, so the thing I look forward to the most when staying at a hotel is breakfast, but it's a shame that breakfast is served in the lounge, so you have to pay for breakfast at the restaurant instead of free. When I asked at the reception desk if the Welcome Choice Food & Beverage Voucher was applicable to breakfast, I was told that it was, so I decided to have breakfast at the restaurant, but there was no discount on my receipt. Well, it's been upgraded and it's not a huge amount of money, so that's good. I thought it was probably a franchisee-style Marriott that had restrictions on status benefits.I live in Munich and use my Marriott and Hilton status in Munich to often stay at hotels for relaxation or work, but I realized that the Westin is the Marriott hotel in Munich that I should use. I'm curious to see if anything has changed, so I'm thinking of coming back sometime.

In December 2023, our flight at Munich Airport was canceled due to the snow chaos, which is why we chose the Marriott Hotel City West. We spent three nights there and were very satisfied. The hotel is modern and clean, and the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was large, clean and stylishly furnished – a real plus. In the evening we visited the hotel's own bar, where the competent bar staff prepared delicious cocktails for us. Breakfast was also a highlight: the service team was friendly and the buffet offered a large selection of both English breakfast specialties and regional options. The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness room, which we enjoyed using. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and highly recommended.

It is a very competent business hotel, but not suitable for tourist accommodation.The hotel is located in an industrial area with no living facilities nearby. You need to take the Tram for more than two stops to find scattered shops or restaurants.The room was comfortable and the bed was great to sleep on. But there is a lot of dust, especially near the coffee machine area.There will be a football team staying in the hotel, and there are many courtesy arrangements. However, it causes great inconvenience to other tenants. When we checked in in the evening, we encountered the team bus and the control line blocking the door. The hotel staff did not help guide us to enter. Just standing in the distance waving and gesticulating. It's not the service level that a five-star hotel should have at all.

I've stayed in hundreds of marriotts and the automated lighting in your rooms has to be one of the worst designs. Incredibly bright TouchPads you cant dim, automatic sensor that turns on room lights when you are turning in your bed. Cannot believe Marriott installed this setup. Besides this the rooms are nice and new and the hotel is clean.

Great hotel and exceptional staff. The location in Munich is right off the light-rail that goes to old town, so the location is very good. The rooms were modern, clean, and well kept. I highly recommend when visiting Munich.

This is an all-round excellent hotel. The rooms are very well designed, so even the standard room feels special. The breakfast is good, and staff are helpful. Only disadvantage is the location, but if you don’t mind a tram or 10 minute walk from the Sbahn, this hotel is worth the stay

Best staff I’ve ever had with Marriott. Highly recommend just based on that. They really went above and beyond with everything from checking me in early to helping me when I lost my wallet. I really cannot praise their staff enough.
