We were the last guests at the campsite and very happy with everything! We were able to explore the city and surrounding area by bike on several days.

Cheap campsite, right on the Main. Sanitary facilities are outdated but generally clean. Friendly staff, most places are very muddy in rainy weather. Approximately 2.5 km from the city center.

Nice place on the Main. Partly paved tracks, partly meadow, open plots without fixed "markings". Price/performance absolutely harmonious.

Beautiful campsite located directly on the Main. Therefore not usable during floods.The sanitary facilities are very old and dirty. According to the cleaning schedule, they are "visited" once a day. This is probably just to replenish consumables.I didn't see any cleaning as I understand it during our stay. Nothing was wiped. The urinals weren't cleaned for days. The odor nuisance is very high.The campsite itself is beautiful, the staff friendly.However, the sanitary building urgently needs to be renovated as does the city that runs the campsite. Should take care of cleaning.We've been there two years in a row now, unfortunately things haven't improved over that time.

A fantastic campsite. Quiet and right on the Main. We were there with the tent. The tent meadow is directly on the Main. 2 meters from the tent entrance, your feet are already getting wet. Perfect. The showers and toilets are a little old, but everything works and it's clean. Bread roll service and drinks vending machines on site. Restaurants are easy to reach on foot.

Nice little campsite. Nice operators, right on the swimming lake, dogs are welcome here and there is a bathing area for them in the water. The fresh rolls in the morning are also great. We'll definitely come back

With the motorhome here. Access for large RVs is a challenge. But a beautiful place in nature with good service and a swimming lake with a beach bar and a tropical sunset. Lots of families with children here and just as many oldies and lots of pubs. Many who probably want to get to know camping and, for example, slept half in the car and half in the tent. Relaxed, good-humoured guests here.

Great campsite, great walks with the dog possible. The best groundskeeper ever, Markus. Stay as you are and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.We would love to come back.

The campsite is really beautifully located on the Altmain. You can jump directly into the water from the tent meadow. The nearby swimming lake is also directly accessible and there is also a modern bar with a good menu.Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not that nice... the fact that they are a bit older is not a bad thing in principle, but the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired.It's also a shame that there is no family cabin, which would be comfortable, especially with very small children.

Family-friendly campsite, with a swimming area on the lake or directly on the narrow bank of the Main. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are old and often in need of cleaning. There is a good inn nearby with delicious Franconian food.

Beautiful camping site by the lake and nature conservation. Dogs are welcome and good sanitary facilities. Were there for the second time in a row and will be back next year. Only recommended.

A super inexpensive campsite. Very nicely located, clean, well equipped and very friendly and courteous staff. As a bike traveler it was no problem getting to the square even after the reception was closed. After a phone call, everything was prepared in absentia and deposited in a locker. I can really recommend the place.
