Unfortunately, we and my partner had to experience an absolute nightmare in this hotel on the first night. The room door was not automatically locked when the door was closed, as is usual in every other hotel. Accordingly, at around 2:30 a.m. someone (probably another guest) got into our room and we were of course more than shocked. The next morning we explicitly checked the door again and when we left the room we noticed that the door didn't lock straight into place and that we had to open and lock it a few times with the room card so that it was locked properly. When we told the receptionist about this at check-out and my friend even went outside the room door with him to demonstrate the defect, he just kept saying "I can't understand" without empathy and succinctly. We didn't ask for compensation or anything like that, but the fact that there wasn't even a word of apology for a more than obvious mistake on the part of the hotel says it all. Hence the first and last time!

Quite nice for a weekend. Room was ok. Shower very small. Unfortunately we had the room facing the main street. It was quite loud because of that. Otherwise great central location. Breakfast was delicious, everything you need was there. The option of the sauna was nice. Especially to warm up after a fresh October day. We were satisfied. Staff was very friendly.

- Unprofessional staff- Cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desiredCosmetic mirror broken, drain pipe completely disgusting on the outside, toilet brush cheap and dirty- Breakfast room could not cover the capacity of the guests, sometimes waiting times of up to half an hour- a coffee machine with a queue

I had booked a junior double room (for one night) the room was super small and the bed (see picture) could only be climbed from one side. I was so angry that I didn't say anything, it wouldn't have been kind. I don't think it's right to charge almost €200 for this with breakfast. I wouldn't say anything about it as a single room. Thank God we weren't asked how we liked it when we checked out. It's a shame that you have to experience something like that again and again.

The location is central and yet on a quiet side street. The service was friendly. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The room on the 2nd floor with a balcony was getting quite old. Unfortunately the entrance area was dirty and there was hair in the bathroom. Bathroom and shower were quite cramped.TV, WiFi and beds were good. There are 6 parking spaces that belong to the hotel. You can park on the street with a parking permit. In high season a maximum of 3 hours for 6 euros. Parking permits are required from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.Quite okay for one night, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right.

The first impression in the foyer is appealing. |The Hotel Mimosa is an old box that has been pimped up. |The first good impression disappears when you open the room. …

We have been here twice and feel welcome even with dogs. Great location, good hotel with a decent price-performance ratio (breakfast included). Pleasant coworkers. Unfortunately there is only a small amount of parking on site, but there are also cheap alternatives in the surrounding streets away from the beachfront parking spaces. We'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The reception was extremely unfriendly, which immediately gave us a bad feeling. The hotel description said there was free, uncovered, unserviced parking. However, we discovered on site that there are only six parking spaces for the entire hotel. When a parking space finally became available, we were told that we were not allowed to park there because we were “not special guests”. This was absolutely incomprehensible and annoying for us.We had also read in the documents sent to us in advance that check-in was possible from 2 p.m. However, we were told on site that check-in is only possible from 3 p.m. Such contradictions are very annoying and lead to unnecessary waiting times. We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, but we have never experienced theater like this. For this reason we will never book this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.
