We were there again - and as always, a great trip. On site - Möwennest - Udo ran the place. The children are very enthusiastic about him! original sound - Udo is cool!

Went on a school trip in 2016, it was really nice! The location in the middle of the dunes was perfect, it was less than 15 minutes to the beach, a short walk further was the neighboring youth hostel, where there was a youth disco, it was a really nice time as a 16 year old. The rooms were large and spacious, clean and simply furnished. Food was always freshly prepared and the management was very nice. There was a football field nearby. Hope it's still the same as it was 8 years ago :)

Was there in 2016 as a 6th grader, my memories are very positive. The house was very large as were the rooms. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen staff was also incredibly nice, especially the cook. The beds were great for 14-15 year olds. There was enough space for storage in the rooms. A large table and chairs were included. I can't say anything about WiFi or reception. I didn't have a mobile device back then xD. The sanitary facilities were good and clean but some of them were too small and we had to share 3 showers with 14 boys. Otherwise it is 1km to Hörnum and a stone's throw to the beach. Otherwise, you could do a lot outside as a child. A swing, a revolving carousel and a table tennis table were offered and you could also borrow a lot from the management (footballs, shuttlecocks, etc.) Down the street you came to a football field, next door there was a boarding school where there was a disco on Fridays. The food was also very tasty and there was a good selection. I found it very nice and great memories remained. I hope that nothing has worsened in 2022.

There was no proper signage to the starting point of the mudflat hike. Only “tropical circle” is a bit exaggerated if you don’t know your way around.

Great hostel with an ideal beach location. WiFi often fails. Good vegan options (but apparently will be discontinued next year)

Hello,I used up my school trip here (10th grade final trip)The food wasn't exactly tasty, the rooms weren't clean (we found crumbs and dirt in the wardrobes and there were bruises on my cover. It was stated on the internet that there was WiFi, but this wasn't the case because the WiFi had been broken for 2 months We simply didn't repair it, otherwise on the subject of the network it was very bad, there was network in 1-2 rooms and then only one bar in the remaining rooms there was no network. Then Möwennest is quite far from everything we had to walk 3km to get there Edeka arrived (which was the only shop nearby, the rest were further away e.g. in Westerland) otherwise the school trip was like a subscription, which also included a mudflat hike and a boat trip, the boat trip was really nice but the mudflat hike was Much too cold in this weather and if you do that you should take rubber boots that are high because the information about ankle-deep water is not correct. Otherwise there were communal showers, which was okay, but in my opinion there were too few of us 3 showers for 25 girls, otherwise in some rooms there was still mold on the windows and very small beds so that you hit your head when you woke up and hit your back when you got up with a 6th grade you could go to the youth hostel but for a 10th Great, it's zero recommend
