This restaurant clearly thrives on the ambience and aura of the past - when it comes to the quality of the food and the commitment of the waiters in the here and now, things look rather bad. The price-performance ratio was very terrible in every respect. Seldom eaten so badly and expensively. I would have avoided the buffet if we hadn't made a contract in advance for a certain number of guests - but I had warmed spring rolls and coleslaw for me. That was the best thing for 39 euros as a vegetarian option. Unfortunately, the staff often made us stand or sit stupidly and showed little interest in our well-being - but there was a nice touch in the contract: the use of the children's chair is free :)

This gastronomy is obviously based on the outdated 4 star hotel and its guests who (have to) eat here.We had dinner a la carte as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately, close to catastrophe. Zero talent and really the lowest standard for commercial kitchens.The complaints are downplayed and settled with a phrase that is generally applicable here."Unfortunately it didn't suit your taste, we're sorry." The addition was crass: "I tried it myself, everything was OK in terms of quality. I'll report it to the management."At least one dish that we rejected because of the defects was taken off the bill.But that wasn't the pinnacle of achievements.The breakfast is actually extensive, but not fresh. The orange fillets tingle on the tongue, the sausage is greasy and musty. As is unfortunately often the case, the egg comes from a tetra pack and the Nuremberg sausages always look like they have been warmed up three times.The cheapest brewed coffee beans are filled into the fully automatic coffee machine, which is immediately noticeable in terms of taste. We only made 2 attempts out of 4 breakfasts, after which it was unbearable. Complaining again just brings up the phrase that management apparently instills in everyone here.Apparently it's your own fault if you eat here and don't like it, because supposedly it's at least edible. Or something like that.

The beauty of the place is ruined by the unfriendly staff. Guests who are later attending events at the hotel are apparently not welcome here.

After the walk through the Herrenkrug in the sunshine ☀ for coffee on the terrace. Free choice of table. After a short while a friendly waitress appeared. The order went quickly and quickly.Eating was possible but only buffet style at a good price 🏷. Overall we were happy with the environment and the service.

Were outside on the terrace yesterday when the weather was nice - we waited 45 minutes for the order and then left in a huff - great Easter Sunday 😡 We haven't experienced such bad service in a long time!

We went to Luch in the beautiful park restaurant and my expectations were more than exceeded; we were warmly welcomed with a glass of champagne. You can give 5* for the food (buffet) alone. From fish to steak, beef and lamb to dessert... delicious starters, antipasti and salads, all fresh and very high quality. Our waitress was really friendly and even had a good laugh over a joke...it was a nice successful lunch
