Everything was wonderful, we traveled there at short notice with two small children and got a nice room right by the lake.Great owner, very fair price, everything clean, and well located close to the summer toboggan run (great for the little ones).We'd love to come back!

So that was the worst accommodation on the Edersee for us so far.Cobwebs in the room, dust in the corners.And totally noisy.There is no relationship between price and performance!!!The only positive thing is the location of the property.Once and never again.

The guest house is highly recommended. The cost of the overnight stay is reasonable, the rooms and sanitary facilities are clean, bright and friendly and the breakfast was generous and delicious! The operators are also very helpful, courteous and friendly.The shore of the Edersee is also barely a three-minute walk away. Great!

We were warmly welcomed and all questions were answered as far as possible. The house itself is getting old. Nevertheless, our room and bathroom were clean and everything worked. We had a great night there. There is a common room with a television, books and magazines. The breakfast was ok, hence a star deduction.

My husband and I spent a night there on the occasion of my 50th birthday party at Edersee. I had also pre-reserved a block of rooms and motorhome parking spaces for other guests of mine. The entire process from the advance reservation to the actual stay (we ended up booking six rooms with breakfast) was as uncomplicated and accommodating as I have ever experienced! The guesthouse is simple and not necessarily ultra-modern (it doesn't have to be), but very clean and comfortable, with rooms, many of which have a view of the lake, and in a great location. It's wonderfully quiet there for a restful sleep. The breakfast offers a good selection, everyone will find something and be comfortably full. The entire stay was in a familiar, pleasant and - to emphasize again - accommodating environment. This experience was crowned by the warm and friendly manner of Ms. Anja Fischbach! Thank you very much at this point for addressing all concerns, taking care of us and looking after us!!!I can only recommend a stay in your guesthouse to others and would come back to you at any time if we ever need it again. We don't live that far away, but we'll definitely come and visit at least once in a while! It's almost like visiting friends.Ramona and Patrick

All in all, an inexpensive, good guesthouse to stay at. The operator is very friendly, accommodating and the lady at breakfast is world class. Went into the garden (in the pouring rain!) to pick fresh peppermint for breakfast tea. The breakfast is small, but there is something for everyone and it is sufficient. The only thing I have to deduct 1 star for is that there is no TV in the room (only one in the common room for all rooms) and there were a few women's hairs in the bed. It's not earth-shattering, but it has to be mentioned.

The operator was nice, the rooms and the whole house are very old but everything was clean so that was ok. The smell in our room (room 3) was bad. It smelled so musty that you could hardly stand it in the room any longer.
