This is the place to go to unplug for a short time. Everything is clean, solid and well functioning. Except for the internet, which you don't need if you want to unplug.The food is basic German, but well prepared and lovingly arranged. The owners are always around and willing to help as needed. They treat you like you are in their care.It was very relaxing.

I spontaneously stayed overnight at the guesthouse. A simple room, well equipped. Not stylish, but everything is there. Food and breakfast were delicious. I can recommend it.

We have eaten here several times. There are wonderful hikes in the area. We ate extremely well in the restaurant, from salmon to schnitzel, game and salads, everything tasted great. We also celebrated a confirmation here with around 30 guests. All the service people were very friendly and relaxed and the food was absolutely perfect. Outside there is a pond in a beautiful garden. The Forsthaus Café is simply recommended. Be sure to reserve in advance. This is only open on weekends. We are already looking forward to the next appointment. See you soon and thank you 😊👌

We passed by here today, Whit Monday, on the way to Bergfreiheit and spontaneously stopped in for coffee and cake. The cake was good and the coffee was good too and the service was really friendly and nice. We'd love to come back! Ah yes, the little tour around the house is simply magical if you are a nature lover.

Visited as a lunch address. Clogged restaurant, especially now that the main road will be replaced in 2023. Quite busy on an ordinary Sunday, mostly local. Food is reliable and just priced. Deer steak fantastic and fairly priced.

We were there today (Sunday) around 1:30pm and were neither greeted nor served while the guests were eating and drinking at the tables around us. There wasn't even any eye contact that we could make. After 15! For minutes we drove hungry and frustrated.Yes, there was a lot to do. If you had just said briefly that it would take a while, we would have had every understanding.
