The young ladies in service are always friendly. Then why the few stars? Because you can always hear from the kitchen how the waitress, especially the young staff, is being shouted at by the boss. Dealing with staff like this is a no go.

Beautifully located in the historic town center, a very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and in the courtyard / beer garden.The service is great, the food is fantastic and the prices are absolutely reasonable.It's a shame that it will probably close forever in the fall.

After booking this hotel on Booking.com a few weeks ago for a trip from the UK to Germany for the Euros, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We were scheduled to check in yesterday, but upon arrival, we faced an unbelievable situation.Despite having a confirmed reservation for four people, the two women at the hotel (the bar lady and the manager, I believe) refused us entry. Initially, they claimed they hadn't received our booking from Booking.com. Then they changed their story, stating that the reservation was only for two people. We showed them our email confirmation, which clearly stated four guests, including breakfast. They reluctantly accepted this after seeing the email.However, things took a turn for the worse when they tried to charge us double the amount and insisted we wouldn't be getting breakfast, despite it being included in our booking confirmation. When we showed them the confirmation again, the manager rudely pushed my phone away and refused to speak English, continuously shouting "no, no" at us.Their behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional. They were yelling at us in German, and their treatment was especially appalling considering we had a disabled guest with us. We left the hotel within 20 minutes of this heated argument, feeling completely disrespected and mistreated.This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs. The staff's attitude was unacceptable, and their refusal to honor our confirmed reservation and provide basic courtesy was outrageous. Definitely do not recommend!

We booked an overnight stay with breakfast for a birthday party in the local area and really enjoyed the (albeit short) stay.Totally cozy and beautifully furnished rooms, big praise for the fact that there are different pillows to choose from right in the room and the additional blanket was also very welcome after we returned from the party cold.The finale was a great breakfast. If we were in the area again, I would definitely look for a room at the Landgasthof Hasen again.

Nice accommodation in a quiet location. Price for one night is a bit excessive in my opinion.Very tasty food, both the dishes from the menu and the breakfast. Upscale, deliciously prepared with high-quality ingredients.The younger gentleman who served us wasn't an expert, but he was original and funny. The owners seemed less relaxed.

We were in the region for a short vacation and chose the Hotel Zum Hasen. Check-in was problem-free and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.Parking spaces can be found to the west near the banks of the Main, and it is only a few minutes' walk away.Owner is fluent in English and German.
