For decades, the Tegelberghaus was a flagship of our community; many innkeepers ran it with passion and dedication. This hut has a tradition, even from the times of King Ludwig. Now a “landlord” has really managed to destroy the whole thing, at least for a certain period of time, unbelievable!!! And if you take the trouble to read the underground recessions from the guests over the last six months, then they speak volumes!! You should be ashamed of yourself! This is how you can destroy a traditional, respected refuge!!!Hopefully the guy will never be a landlord again and hopefully someone will be found to keep this place running properly. You can see how to run a hut in an exemplary and great way using the Rohrkopfhütte example below!!

I can't say anything about the rooms. I reached up here with friends over two days via the Tegelbergsteig and the Fingerhutsteig. The prices for Kaiserschmarrn, drinks and so on are not cheap, but also not unusual for mountain huts. There was plenty of seating and, as expected, the view is magnificent.

I ate a good roast pork with red cabbage and dumplings.Very good taste and there were 3 slices of roast pork, the price was ok for this tourist hotspot.Self service is acceptable considering the quality of the meal.

Here is the translation into German: The female employees worked very well, but there were problems with the male employees. When we sat down at a table they didn't immediately take our order but just chatted with us. At first I didn't know they were waiters. We were kept waiting for several minutes. When we asked for an explanation of the menu, which was only in German, they immediately walked away and we had to wait again. Their attitude was clearly different towards Asians and racist comments were made. It wasn't the kind of hospitality you would expect towards tourists from other countries. Based on this experience, I don't think this is the best place to visit Germany. I hope that the German Tourist Office will take measures to improve services for international tourists.

Well-known mountain house where you can also stop off. However, it is quite crowded when the train is open.

The shandy tasted extremely watery. It was made with soda from a dispenser (water mixed with syrup) and the syrup was probably empty? The Kaiserschmarrn was delicious! The prices are similar to other huts.

We don't stay here. We only helped ourselves to a few things to enjoy the fresh air and the fantastic landscape. The bathroom is very nice, taking advantage in part of the structure of the hill. The decoration also has a playful perspective.Good attention.
