1. Error on my part, booked the room on the wrong date. After driving 800 km, I was in a slight state of shock. Hotel boss immediately slowed down and gave me a room and he said: even if there wasn't one available, we would have found something for you (👏🏻 thanks again for that)2. Staff super friendly and helpful.3. super clean rooms that have been decorated with love and style.4. Beach 2 minutes from the lodge5. very quiet both inside and outside the house6. Coffee bar availableI could go on like this. I work in a hotel myself and have rarely experienced such a pleasant atmosphere in a hotel. To the team -> thank you very much ❤️

On our holiday trip along the Baltic Sea in September 24, we spent 5 days as a couple in what is supposed to be the northernmost hotel in Germany, near Glücksburg on the narrow Holnis peninsula. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm some of the good reviews. The rooms are sparsely furnished, no wardrobe, just a niche with a few clothes hangers, a small bathroom with no storage space. But further, on the day of arrival we discovered that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no hairdryer, and the sliding door to the bathroom was unhooked and could not be closed. The first two points could be resolved after a complaint, but not the sliding door, here we had to be content with a small discount on the bill, which is a shame. The breakfast room is used together with the pizzeria on the ground floor, the breakfast selection is sufficient, the service staff are very attentive and extremely friendly, hence 4 stars. We were somewhat reconciled by the wonderful sunrise in the morning. When asked about the 3-star category mentioned by providers, the owner said he didn't attach any importance to it.

This hotel is not okay. I made a reservation through booking.com. Everything paid, including an additional amount for cancellation. Then I got sick and tried to cancel 1 out of 2 days via booking. That didn't work, the two days were suddenly cancelled. Called the hotel to say that I wanted to come the second day. That was no longer possible unless I paid more than 200 euros. Because of my cancellation, all the money had gone to booking, they said. In short; I lost 310 euros and never been to the hotel. Booking denies that they have the money.

As a solo traveler, I was amazed at the size of the room and the bed (single room). Great importance is attached to cleanliness, as well as to a beautiful maritime ambience. I would also like to highlight the small kitchen in the public area. Beautiful family business run with heart. You will miss the in-house (sea view) Italian restaurant at home. Parking spaces are allocated per room (!) and by car you can easily reach Glücksburg or Flensburg.

Full marks - we felt very comfortable and would love to come back again. It was great that in the evening you could eat directly in the hotel in a delicious restaurant with a view of the Baltic Sea and not have to drive off to the next town. The breakfast was also great. I would always recommend the rooms with a Baltic Sea view and a balcony. Tastefully furnished and a wonderful view. Hotel is very nice and quiet.

We only had 3 days of vacation and we decided to go see the Baltic Sea. We chose Lodge am Meer for its location. Our room was spacious and beautiful, prices are different depending on room choice. We did not overlook the sea but we had a side view of the sea and the interior courtyard. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast has the essentials. It is replenished when something is missing. We enjoyed being able to have lunch with a view of the Baltic Sea and being able to swim (the sea is at the door of the lodge). The price of breakfast is a little expensive: 17.50 euros per person. For dinner, we recommend the San Remo restaurant (shared common room for lodge breakfast and restaurant dinner). Very welcoming staff, a cozy setting and tasty Italian cuisine.Lodge am Meer is on the outskirts of Glücksburg: you can get there by car, taxi or bike (on the Holnis peninsula). We recommend this lodge for its tranquility, fabulous location and very welcoming staff. It's nice to have a restaurant like San Remo within reach.

Nice hotel, located directly on the outer fjord. I liked the room with a balcony and a view of the water. I'll definitely be back.
