We went on a school trip here and we are also aware that you won't be able to check in at the Adlon, but the WiFi in the CVJM is pretty ASS (we were denied the password). The nice thing about this place is the roof terrace, which we weren't allowed to go up on, but that was because of our teacher. You can't expect anything from the service - rude caretaker and poor selection at breakfast made us always look for alternatives. Cleaning up after you leave the place is up to you - especially annoying if the cleaning staff steals your toothbrush. It's great that there was no alternative, because the block of soap is almost gone after a day. However, you can forget about washing your hands after the shop anyway, because you can only wipe your hands and anus with the single-layer sandpaper.

Generally the room was fine, quite clean but beds were uncomfortable and the wifi was not very good. + for breakfast included and 3 min walk to the metro station which takes you to the centre in a few minutes. Friendly staff.

I was happy with the accommodation, my daughter was also thrilled. The woman at the information desk was very nice and helpful. One thing that wasn't so good was the supply of butter at breakfast but everything else was fine.

I was in Berlin for a concert and spent a night in the youth hostel.It was clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious. From the roof terrace you could see the Victory Column and the television tower. Really cool

Everything fits in terms of price/performance ratio.The staff is friendly and helpful.Parking is in front of the house. But only a few places.The rooms are simple and functional.The bathroom is very simple. The shower reliably delivers warm water. What bothers me is the low faucet. I almost can't get down here without hitting something.The WiFi fluctuates very much. Sometimes I have 3 bars. Then none again. Always measured in the same place. There is still room for improvement here.The breakfast buffet was very good. This can certainly be compared with smaller hotels. There were rolls, bread, fruit, yoghurt, muesli etc. A lot of branded products were also used here. For example Nutella. Only the coffee wasn't my thing. But that is a matter of taste.In general, I would stay here again with the family.

Overall, it is fine for a very short stay. We reserved a 4-bed room with private bathroom and toilet inside. The bathroom, toilet and beddings were clean, but the room and beds themselves were very dusty. If you’re are allergic to dust as some of us, take the appropriate medicine with you. Our beds were comfortable. The building and furniture in the rooms however definitely need renovation. The hall smells very bad. It was unbearable at some point. The location is very good as the train station is nearby. Wifi worked perfectly. Free parking is a huge advantage. There was no noise. The breakfast was good. Vegan options were limited but sufficient. The staff were kind and helpful.

As for the hostel, I already liked it. 1. Very close to the metro station. It is convenient to get there from the railway station (line U2). 2. Clean room, there is a bathroom. The linen is excellent. 3. Good breakfast with a large selection of food.
