You can park in the Mall of Berlin or on the street (both quite expensive). Nice welcome, central location, the furniture in the apartment was new and you could see the effort to create a modern style, including large pictures on the walls. The bathroom was quite new and the more surprising was the dirty drain in the shower. Since the windows faced the inner courtyard, the quiet was unusual for Berlin city - so you could sleep quite well. I still didn't feel comfortable because everything was a bit dingy and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Positive: Very friendly welcome, good central location, absolutely quiet apartment.Negative: Bed for two people 140 centimeters wide!!!No storage space in the bedroom except for ONE tiny little table next to the bed.A broken shelf and a used tissue in the closet.No grab bar in the shower or any way to hold on when getting out of it.There was only one toothbrush glass and no storage space at the sink. The only shelf is behind the toilet, whose glasses are loose and wobbly.There is no additional seating in the living room apart from the sofa, which had to be used as a second bed because the bed was much too narrow.When I tried to open a drawer, the entire panel separated from the rest of it.Self-catering should be possible in an apartment, which requires a certain basic set of dishes and appliances as well as furniture.In this case, I would have preferred a toaster instead of the washing machine.It would also have been nice if there had been a dish drying towel, especially since the sparse dishes had to be washed before use, because EVERY PART was only washed very superficially and some were really sticky.Neither the kettle nor the tank of the Nespresso machine were empty.There is a hob and an oven, but only a single tiny cooking pot.There is a corkscrew, but no wine glasses or anything remotely usable for wine.To eat, you sit bent over on the sofa bed at a table that is not even knee high.There is a very friendly guest letter on the sideboard, which includes, among other things, a telephone number that you can call at any time if you need anything additional.When we asked for two breakfast plates, two wine glasses and a tea towel, the answer was that there was generally none of that and that there was no one on site at the weekend.In none of our numerous stays in Berlin over the past 35 years have we experienced such an uncomfortable experience.

Employee hardly understands German. Didn't have the room we booked but a "room" in the neighboring house. The apartment was dirty. The location is great, subway right next to it, but that doesn't make the room any better🙈

I arrived around ten and no one was there and reception after checking several times through the day I finally checked in around 1630. I stayed 2 days and no one was ever at reception. The apartment has a living room, bedroom and bathroom. It was clean but the walls were really thin and the neighboring apartment kept me up by playing the TV loud till at least 3 am both nights. Location is good the mall of Berlin is across the street and the Brandenburg gate is about a 10 minute walk. I have added a pick below of the entrance because it is not easy to find.I am not that picky but I would not stay here again.

The hotel is very centrally located and has good connections to public transport. Despite the trade fair, I paid comparatively little for an apartment. Although the reception is only open until 6 p.m. it wasn't a problem to arrive later. The lady at the reception gave me a very friendly welcome and overall I had a nice stay in Berlin.Gladly again!

I can't write anything about the apartment because we didn't even get that far! But the location was good, that's why the 1 star.I booked an apartment in Berlin through Hotel.de for May 27th/28th, 2017 in December 2016. The reception times are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, May 27th, 2017, my partner and I arrived at this address at around 1:15 p.m. I rang the bell but nothing happens. This went on until around 2 p.m. I called the number that was included when booking, but that number was not in use. We went to the nearby mall and asked other people who were milling around if this was really number 68, yes it was. At 2:20 p.m. I called Hotel.de and wanted to know what was going on. The lady from Hotel.de told me to wait on the phone because she was now calling City Apartments in Berlin herself. I was on hold for about 10 minutes and nothing happened so I hung up. Then suddenly a call from Hotel.de and this same lady told me to please call Hotel.de again in an hour because she couldn't reach anyone either. Well, I actually went to Berlin with my partner to see the city and not wait for anyone from the hotel or call.Unfortunately we had to look for other accommodation, which was of course almost impossible because the football cup final was on.We found a place to stay pretty late, but the price was enormous.So never again at City Apartments and Hotel.de!!!
