A very nice campsite, super nice, helpful operators. With bread roll reservation (delicious croissant), sanitary facilities are very clean, shower rooms are spacious, free of charge, and you also have space to dry yourself. Unfortunately you have to pick up the shower head and unfortunately you can't stand under it. But that's the only drawback! Great with dogs, you can go out for a walk straight away, wonderful. Always happy, for 20 years 🤩

The positive:- nice staff, flexible on arrival- Mini market with bread service- Restaurant available- wonderfully overgrown place- everything was very well maintained- ideal location for excursions into the surrounding area as the cycle path is right next to it- Rothenburg can be reached on foot in max. 20 minutes- Sanitary facilities are in great shape and very clean- other infrastructure is in excellent shape- no excessive lighting shining in the caravan at nightThe negative: nothing found 🤪

Good sanitary facilities, many pitches are paved with perforated stones. There are fresh rolls in the morning. Nice staff. The restaurant serves dishes at reasonable prices.

The modernized sanitary building is unbeatable. The shower is twice as big as usual, about 1.9mx1.9m, maybe larger. Generally very neat, well-kept place! Have been here several times. The operators and staff are very friendly and helpful.Addition: Here again and the rating is unchanged. What I don't understand, however, is that people rate the place negatively for occasions when the place cannot change anything. If it rains for several days, the place is wet. In the announced closure the place is closed. Why only 1 star? Informing beforehand helps.

Very friendly reception. Sanitary facilities brand new, bright, spacious and sparkling clean. Some of the pitches are paved with grass paving stones, which is very helpful when it is wet.

Ah! Always nice to stopover here for a day or two. Lovely staff. Has everything you need. We stay here and then drive up to P3 and park (2.50 euro/hour). Then we walk into the old town and remember our previous visits. (P3 is now 22 euros for 24 hours parking but we prefer Tauberromantik). This time we popped into St.Jakobskirche to see the Altar of the Holy Blood and it's interior for 3.50 euros per person. We also picked up some lace in the plönlein. If you see Rothenburg Schneebollen just keep walking. The local church in Detwang is worth a look and we've always liked a stroll there from the campsite. Nice bread rolls can be ordered for pick up the next morning from 7.30. Good WiFi. Row E has the hard standing pitches... interlinked plastic grid.

A nice, small campsite. For us over a long weekend in Rothenburg. Uncomplicated check-in and everything is clear. The rolls that were ordered for breakfast were very good. As already described, the sanitary facilities are new and were very clean. Unfortunately, all hairdryers switch off after a minute due to overheating... not so nice, but would be recorded as information in reception for checking. Unfortunately, the dishwashing areas were also suboptimal and far too deep for my wife. Overall we were satisfied and would come again.

This is a great campsite. The facilities are very clean, lovely hot showers. 2 restaurants nearby and a great shop on the camp. You can walk into town in 20 minutes and there are walking and biking paths straight from the campsite.

Came by car and tent without a reservation to visit the city and the surrounding area. We only paid for the tent area and left the car at the bus stop.Very clean, quiet and nice people.Can only recommend👍

The best place to explore the truly sensational city. The staff is super nice and cuddly🥰 The washhouse is top-notch and clean. The prices are super fair. What more do you want? I'm telling you...go to Tauber and look for the poor, sad lion with a crown who is trapped in a tree...😟😒

We camped here in our caravan for two weeks.The campsite is beautifully located, quiet and offers free Wi-Fi and showers. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. there is a small kiosk where you can also pre-order bread rolls.The place is dog-friendly, which attracts many visitors with their four-legged friends.That's why many people come here with their dogs. Unfortunately, the dogs often urinated on the grass verge in front of our caravan, which smelled quite unpleasant in the warm weather. Their big business was usually removed, but often carried out directly in front of our caravan, which wasn't ideal either. What was also disturbing is that some dogs were running around freely. Since you didn't know the animals, it was unclear whether they were friendly or would attack you straight away.A little tip from me: pay attention to which parking space you get. There are places with bars in the floor - ideal! Pitches with gravel are also great. Unfortunately, there are also places where you have direct contact with the ground. We had one like that! The mud was everywhere and after rain you literally sank into it. A large puddle of water formed around our awning and even ran into the awning. This probably wouldn't have happened with gravel or grids in the ground. So after a while it really wasn't fun anymore. Hopefully the owner will change something about the pitches so that something like this can no longer happen.Many guests use the square as a stopover because the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber is nearby. There are beautiful palaces and castles about 23 kilometers away. The area is wooded and ideal for hiking. The campsite itself has a restaurant, but in the village there is also a large restaurant with a beer garden.Although the campsite is really nice, I can unfortunately only give it three stars. All the mud and the dogs running loose, along with their droppings, got really annoying after a while.

The only positive thing is the sanitary building. In bad weather, a large part of the area is hardly passable. 30 EUR for one night with 2 people without electricity, a dog or children in a small motorhome on a muddy tent meadow is far too expensive.

Small, neat and clean campsite with great service. We cannot judge the rooms. For children there is a small playground with a tunnel slide and water feature. Great bike path behind the CP. Gladly again!
