Beautiful location, wonderful service, the breakfast is served overlooking the wonderful garden.Rooms are large, great interior design and comfy beds.Sonja the host is kind and takes care of everything!Coming back very soon!!

Lovely property in a perfect location near a stream with a walking path. The host was super welcoming and accomodating. The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with local foods. We will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful inn with very comfortable rooms, ours with a balcony. You will be welcomed very friendly and it is not far to the center and the lake. Would be happy again at any time and absolutely recommended👌👍

This guest house absolutely outstanding. The rooms are Bavarian modern! Likewise the bathrooms. The main reason for this rating, in addition to the absolutely excellent breakfast on a romantic terrace or a cozy living room, is, above all, the warm hostess, Ms. Bartl, who is always available to give hiking or restaurant tips.

Wonderful. The host is a very sweet lady. The house is so welcoming (a Christmas feeling), it makes you feel like home. The breakfast is delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

My partner and I had a very nice stay with Ms. Bartl. We felt comfortable right from the start and were immediately on vacation. The guest house is located in a very quiet side street with a great view of the mountains. In addition to the lovingly prepared breakfast - where the homemade muesli is particularly worth mentioning - the cozy room with balcony and the friendly hostess contributed to a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely go to Tegernsee again - of course also because of the beautiful area - and then hope that Mrs. Bartl has a room available for us. Thumbs up!

We have been coming to Pension Bartl for years and it is an absolute insider tip. Quietly located on the Weissach, you can easily walk to Lake Tegernsee, Rottach or Wallberg. Because of our relatives, we go to Mrs. Bartl's at least 4 times a year and have been here twice for Christmas and really can't say anything negative.The guesthouse corresponds to a country house according to our ideas with a cozy character that impresses with lots of wood and loden. The breakfast room is always busy in the morning and the adjoining open kitchen, which is still heated with wood, gives the whole thing its very own charm. The breakfast is extensive and the home-made yoghurts with fresh fruits and the scrambled eggs are to die for. While Ms. Bartl makes what feels like her third or fourth pot of coffee, she also provides you with local excursion tips and restaurant recommendations.Over the years we have stayed in almost every room, all of which have a bright and friendly country house style and very comfortable beds.We are looking forward to next weekend when we can be back at Pension Bartl for the second weekend in a row!

The third stay with Ms. Bartl was great again.Great breakfast - with cold cuts, cheese, homemade jam, and sometimes fruit quark or similar delicacies.Not exactly cheap but we were always very satisfied and will book here again.

After a 6-day stay in the guesthouse, I returned home today... I spent my vacation there with my best friend. The area around Lake Tegernsee is really wonderful. The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. The view is a dream and you can easily reach everything on foot. Unfortunately we didn't feel very welcome. On the first day the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we felt more and more uncomfortable every day because of Ms. Barthel's mood. Somehow you always have the feeling that you have done something wrong. Such feelings can spoil your stay. The hostess hardly exchanged a word with us. It's a shame, because my girlfriend and I are very open and friendly people. The breakfast is very sparse. Towels weren't changed once. However, we still enjoyed the holiday very much... we cannot recommend the accommodation more highly based on the points listed above.

We didn't feel welcome at the property.Annoyed owner who disappears into the garden at breakfast time and sweeps around diligently while we eat (no other time for that?!).We paid €120 (double room) for 1 night.For this we have:- a small, dark, relatively clean room (floor dirty, especially under the carpet 😨), no view (huge trees directly from the balcony)00. The bathroom was clean, but water constantly ran from the shower into the bathroom. Dim lighting in the bathroom and by the bed;- very cheap breakfast (hard rolls counted out for 2 people, 2 slices of sausage/cheese, 2 slices of cucumber, 2 spoons of yoghurt for each with some fruit and leftover cereal and 1 egg that was either still really runny or already blue 🤮. Scrambled eggs were part of the delicacies , which Mrs. Bartl offered depending on the mood and mood of the guest, almost always just leftover coffee and a little milk). That was the worst breakfast we have ever had!! No choice, the same thing every day and very little for 2 people;- WiFi kept showing errors;- Bed linen never changed despite stains;- We never saw the kitchen where breakfast was prepared clean, animals are also fed there.For the money it can and must be better.After a week we are happy to be home again.

Despite the renovated rooms in the catalog, we got an old, dark room with sparkling lights and a ratty shower curtain. I have never experienced the minimalist breakfast in this misery
