Great to know such a special place in Hamburg. Unique concept, a beautifully designed room, lots of art on the walls, relaxed service in the restaurant, very tasty, varied breakfast with many vegan components. Great roof terrace with a view over the city and the harbor, good and unusual drinks. Overall brilliant, it was really fun to stay there with the family!

Modern hotel with harmoniously reduced furnishings. Within walking distance of the main train station. Crew is friendly, helpful. The delicious, mild Hamburg tap water comes from the Nordheide. On the breakfast buffet, a large selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, regional products, good bread. Little but selected on the carnivore table.

I spent one night here in a camping box. First of all, the staff is super friendly, the hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet is very rich and good.But what really bothered me and didn't let me sleep peacefully was the loft bed in the camping box: the bed is 1.6 m high and the only way to avoid falling out is to use an Ikea attachment that is completely undersized and doesn't even come close to meeting the standard Fall protection “secured”, which is just 7cm higher than the mattress and also much too short. In the absence of a handle to hold on to when climbing up, many people apparently use the fall protection as a handle, which is also extremely loose. If you roll out of bed here, serious injuries are inevitable. I also mentioned this to reception and they assured me that it would be fixed in about four months.

Excellent experience, very nice staff, great Breakfast. Wish they would have one in every city. Its very central and close to the train station. Everything is as clean and very good value. Cant complain about anything and would recommend to everyone!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The soap is pretty tasty raw. The lobby downstairs was also cool with the popcorn machine, the water dispenser and other interesting things. The rooftop terrace and the bar were very nice. There is also a mini sauna. We felt very comfortable and were extremely satisfied, we would be happy to come back.

Loved this hotel, the rooms were really cool and the service in the bars and at reception was great. Location seemed good but wasn't in Hamburg long enough to say how good in relation to everywhere else

Review adjusted later. Basically the rooms are ok, although not particularly large. They suit my taste. Unfortunately there are no glasses if you bring your own drink or want to drink tap water. There is only one hook in the bathroom for towels for 4 people and only a small closet in the entrance area. I also like the decor of the hotel itself. The location is central, close to the train station, but far away from the trendy bars. The bar in the hotel is great, has plenty of choice and a nice terrace. I can't say anything about the food, it wasn't available at the moment. But this is expected to change again, so pay attention to the opening times of the restaurant.I am still a fan of the home port concept. This hotel still needs to improve a bit.

A small, extraordinary pearl of a hotel - here sustainability is not just a nice empty phrase for advertising purposes - from the toilet paper to the clothes swap rack, everything is well thought out, sustainable and extraordinary. The breakfast is expensive but worth every penny - what a choice! Great, regional, fair products. The rooms are pleasantly quiet, beautifully designed and have separate toilets and showers. The beds and pillows are super comfortable.We would have been happy about a second trash can (with two diaper changing children) and if the restaurant had been open in the evening. Otherwise we were very happy.Train station about 10 minutes on foot, Harry Potter Theater about 20 minutes on foot.

Great location to stay overnight. Very close to downtown Hamburg. Subway, main station around the corner. The beds are a dream. A great bar on the roof with a view of the harbor. Great 😀

The hotel is easily accessible on foot from the train station. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the furnishing style - the room is quite small but has a super cute design and is really cozy and you feel more than comfortable there.

Surprisingly interesting place to stay. The interiors, especially on the floors with rooms, have been finished in a very tastefully minimalist design. Hallways have a solid foam covering which is very quiet to walk on and are lit by funky round lights of different colours. The minimalist approach continues in the rooms - concrete floors that are sealed with a clear coat, beds constructed from plywood and in our corner room the bed space extends as a platform to the corner. The toilet and shower are in separate spaces, neither feel cramped. The windows are thickly glazed so the room is quiet and stays at a comfortable temperature.Breakfast is well done with a good selection of cold and warm food. Not expensive either ¢18 when we were there. The only relative disappointment was that the restaurant wasn't open for lunch. The reception and breakfast staff were always friendly and helpfulThe hotel is close to central Hamburg and an easy walk from central station. In summary, a great affordable place to stay in Hamburg
