I can warmly recommend the gypsy schnitzel in the very tasty restaurant at the campsite, as well as the other dishes of course.

Great campsite for the entire family. The groundskeeper is nice and helpful, there are plenty of opportunities for the little ones to play and the sanitary facilities and showers are always clean.

Nice camping/campgroundThe location of the campsite is really great. Tents can be set up directly near the shore. The campsite operator is very hospitable and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and free. The overnight prices are reasonable. Unfortunately it is forbidden to grill (except with a gas/electric grill). However, this ban applies to the entire Sorpe. A bit disturbing is one of the long-term campers (seemingly always drunk) who speaks and comments on everything and everyone. Even though he's always friendly, it gets annoying after a few days. Overall, the place is highly recommended and I will come back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Lake Sorpe.We rented the Theo caravan. The view of the lake from our place was simply fantastic.The car was clean, bright and modernly furnished.The bed linen in particular was very clean and like new.Pillows and blankets were also like new.The wash house could be reached in a minute and was also very well maintained.I have to give the groundskeeper a lot of praise, he was always approachable, friendly and absolutely accommodating.Even though he really looks after a large system.All in all it was just pure relaxation.The price-performance ratio was also good.

If you like the Sauerland, you can have a great time here. Our parking space was right behind the barrier and so we had to pay coins at the machine for electricity, water, etc. Unfortunately the power went out at night and I had to switch to gas, otherwise the refrigerator would have thawed. In the evenings and at night there are lots of rabbits running around the square, which makes the children happy.

The campsite itself was great. The catering and the employees were top. Friendly, accommodating. The caravan left a little to be desired, as did the outside area. Dirty and dirty. The washhouses were clean. But overall we're coming. again.Just no more caravan.

A beautiful place to camp, with an impressive view of Lake Sorpe.The groundskeeper is top notch and always has an open ear for concerns. Very personable and friendly staff in the café. Registration went completely smoothly and the prices are completely okay for what you get.Sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. You don't need shower tokens for hot water.Sorpe taxis are available next to registration so you can pull your items to the square.This is the second time we've been here and it definitely won't be the last time.

Great campsite, parking for a fee of €5/day, and loading and unloading is only possible from the parking lot with a handcart. We were a larger group and I had a full bus. This is simply not acceptable and contemporary.

I was there during the week in the preseason. Sanitary facility clean. Nice groundskeeper. Tent is right on the water. Gladly again

There is no tap water on site. Grilling is prohibited. The party continued until 4 a.m. There is only one washhouse which is very far from the tent meadow. There is no barbecue area and no lounge for campers with tents. The car is not allowed on the pitch. You have to pay €5 per day in a parking lot in front of the campsite. Anyone who is late gets a ticket. The prices are luxury. We don't visit this place anymore.

The campsite is pretty run down. The place is full of filthy annual caravans. There is no water at the site and the washhouse is very far away from the tent meadow. The parking lot costs 5 euros per day! When it rains, the meadow quickly becomes very muddy. Grilling is also prohibited. There was loud partying until late into the night, even though it's supposedly a family campsite with a quiet night starting at 10 p.m.
