Stopover on the Winterberg-Duisburg bike tour. Very friendly welcome, good space for our bikes. Room simple but very clean and good bed.Since Monday, the restaurant was closed (a shame); but were rewarded with a great breakfast.Was a very positive experience. Thanks to Heidi and her great team.

We were there for one night! Room acceptable for one night. Staff always tried hard.On one side you have the train, on the other side you have the church and the street, it's almost impossible to sleep with the window open.

Room 5, the rest only 3, because unfortunately only 3 stars can be awarded overall. But they earned the 3 because of the room.Actually I only wanted a single room, at short notice in the season, I was offered a double room for the price of a single room. That's because I'm still here, that's not why it was, almost a complete apartment, everything clean and tidy, even the double bed, beautifully prepared, like on vacation. Huge space, could even be offered as a family room. I can't write anything about the service and the associated restaurant with a counter, I didn't use it, I'll just have breakfast, as agreed. The pictures speak for themselves. In the hallway there is even a full refrigerator and per bottle, water, non-alcoholic beer or normal beer, for 1.50 euros is also completely okay 👌, there is also a kettle with instant coffee there, whether it costs anything, yeah. And if so, it doesn't matter. Quiet area with parking spaces, illuminated access to the front door, nothing needs to be guarded here, completely quiet area, you can only hear the train that occasionally runs nearby when the window is open. But I don't think it runs at night. There are endless excursion destinations here in the region and there is a board in the room with information about them, as well as ordering information for delivery services. Gas station and good restaurant within walking distance.Overall, for a spontaneous booking, I am very surprised.Gladly again, but it's probably fully booked quite often, so I was lucky 🍀

I've had a really friendly welcome here.Overall I felt very, very comfortable.A warm atmosphere that you unfortunately don't experience too often anymore. Therefore all the more valuable.After a great breakfast, feeling completely fine, I set off again. With the knowledge that I would like to come here again.Thank you Heidi and thanks to the team.... The room was rather small but had everything you needed, including a toilet and a shower cubicle. When making the reservation we asked if we could get an extra bed and were told no. But when we arrived we were offered a folding bed, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast was brought to our table and it was really rich with butter, cold cuts, cheese, fruit and vegetables and quark with muesli. Upon request, scrambled eggs were prepared for us. We couldn't eat that much. The owner was very friendly and open.

Very large apartment with lots of windows, 2 entrances and a very large bathroom. Very quiet, very clean and friendly. Very nice hospitality for breakfast, only the trash can could have been emptied once in 5 days. There was a small refrigerator filled with drinks. The drinks expired on time on March 8th, 2023.

In close proximity to the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path. The apartment was great. Very large apartment with lots of windows, 2 entrances and a very large bathroom. There was a small refrigerator filled with drinks.

Everything is very good. If we want to spend the night in the area again, then we will stay with Heidi. I just hope that there is internet there too. Otherwise everything was great.

Clean, small apartment - unexpected, but very nice. Lovely decorated. Boss very friendly, breakfast excellent. Absolutely okay in terms of price. Access to the lower courtyard with Goldwing and CBF1000 was a bit of a challenge because of the gravel, but doable. Gladly again.
