Average. Location is really great, right next to the park and very close to the old town/center. The staff is very nice, but generally the standard is poor. For example, the rooms are getting old, the air conditioning is loud and there is no coffee in the room.

The rooms are large and beautiful with an amazing view over the park with a lake and river or channel running past it.The service desk was friendly and prompt and the lobby is also very beautiful. There is a restaurant to the left of the lobby.There are no additional international plug sockets in the room and also no usb sockets

Good rooms, although in need of some renovation. Large drink menu but almost none of it is available. Staff in the restaurant ok, but don't know what is being served. Good meeting rooms.

Very quiet location, the rooms are OK. For a business hotel, the lack of desks is a real drawback, especially given the high prices for the superior rooms. The breakfast was better than other hotels in the area.

We went to the concert in Braunschweig.Since we have a hotel near theIf you were looking for a Volkswagen hall, the Steigenberger Parkhotel was an obvious choice.It is just a 3 minute walk from the hall.The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. Everything you need is there. The service at reception, at the BAR and at breakfast is really great.I know for sure that if I go to Braunschweig again, this hotel will be my first choice.One more thing, breakfast is a bit more expensive, but worth every cent.Greetings Thomas

Reception is moderately friendly, the wallpaper in the room is almost falling off the wall, which makes you think that everything wasn't processed correctly here. The TV is so tiny, it's like a 2 star standard. But the worst are the critters, beetles, that invade the entire room. When we asked the front desk, housekeeping was only sent up to vacuum them up. After 30 minutes the whole room was full again. Sorry, I chose Steigenberger. Unfortunately. I have never experienced anything like this in any other hotel, unbelievable. So Steigenberger Braunschweig: No thanks. Absolutely no recommendation!

I cannot recommend the Parkhotel in Braunschweig and would not want to stay there again.Everything I have to criticize has already been criticized by others. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before booking the room.The imitation leather on the bed and a chair was badly worn. The particles that came off the head of the bed fell onto the bed and my head when I touched it.There was an intense smell of sewer in the bathroom. This smell couldn't be masked by perfume.The ventilation in the bathroom couldn't be turned off and the hotel room also had noise all night long.An annoying little thing, however, was that the soap dispenser was almost empty and could only be used with great effort.In order to voice our complaints, we had to go downstairs to the counter. No one could be reached either by phone (cell phone, the room phone was broken anyway) or via the service app.After more than 30 minutes, we were shown two rooms of similarly poor quality, which we declined because of that and because it was also noisy from the park below. Apparently they wanted to eliminate the smell in the bathroom by rinsing with hot water.I can't remember exactly how many times we tried to reduce the price of our overnight stays while we were there and from home because of the numerous deficiencies. But it was at least five times.You can also read some of the excuses that were presented to us in other reviews.We were told they would contact us. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter couldn't decide that on her own. When asked, it was explained that they only had our email address and not the telephone number. Another time it was a larger celebration that is said to have prevented the gentleman in question from finding time to call us. Of course, we were also told that they were constantly renovating the rooms. However, this statement is of little help to us personally. It was also said that I was correct in thinking that the poor condition of the rooms needed to be communicated to the guest before their stay. It was said that it should be communicated on the website in the future. And so on and so on and so on….

Nice hotel close to the city center. Efficient check in by friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, comfortable bed, windows that can be opened. They also serve a great breakfast buffet. Only min point: we had dinner in the Vinothek restaurant and service was chaotic (food was good though).

The Steinberger Parkhotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The service is first class and the staff was extremely accommodating. I stayed for one night and wanted to use the sauna, so I got a room right next to the spa (406). This was an upgrade that was offered to me at no extra charge after I asked reception about the sauna. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The price is absolutely unbeatable. The area is beautiful. The view is fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here - the hotel is perfect and unforgettable. I would come back without hesitation.

Although we had supposedly been given a hotel room that had already been renovated, we were horrified to discover that the room didn't really appear to be in a renovated condition.Faux leather chair was totally worn out; Faux leather was completely peeled off. The Levinski chairs in the restaurant were completely covered in indefinable stains. Nice bad ending.
