Been there second year in a row.Beautiful farm in a prime location.Super nice staff and owner.I look forward to coming here every year.The room and breakfast are incredibly warmly decorated and the horses are also on wonderful meadows.Terrain tiptopReally a heartfelt recommendation to unwind! :)

I really enjoyed my stay on this beautiful, cozy farm. The breakfast was great!!!! Super nice people there. You really felt like you were in good hands. You were allowed to provide your horses with hay and concentrated feed as you wanted and had the opportunity to rent an open stable with a great hut and water supply. It's just nice to take care of your horses early in the morning during the deer rut when no one is awake yet. I was able to unwind, read, hike, ride. The attitude there is simply great. The hay is of great quality, something I don't know from our region. I look forward to the next visit. Anyone who wants to enjoy nature with a horse is in great hands there. And dogs are also welcome. An all around successful holiday!!!!!! Would like to give 10 stars!!!!!

The Alte Fuhrmannsschänke was the penultimate destination directly on the Heidschnuckenweg and offered itself as accommodation. We had the opportunity to book a single room and three beds in the hay hotel. Everything worked perfectly.We had ordered a snack for the evening, which was not only well prepared, but also stored perfectly in the room's refrigerator (also in the hay hotel).The whole farm is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Among other things, the breakfast room is a feast for the eyes and makes the morning meal taste even better.Good to know 1: The restaurant has not been operating since 2021.Good to know 2: There is no vending machine for drinks or snacks or a refrigerator with a trustworthy cash register.

Holiday with 2 horses as a couple and friends with their own 3 horses and friends. We are thrilled to have our own large pasture with shelter for our two. Great riding area, very good hay, well-kept, spacious area.The breakfast buffet was great. The service staff and the check-in with the farm owners 5 stars.The apartments are good, the bathrooms are a bit old. Internet not so great but not the focus for us.Price and performance top!

On the Heidschnuckenweg on tour, with an overnight stay in the Fuhrmannschenke.Very quiet location....a great snack plate with a bottle of wine and a packed lunch for the next morning were prepared...😀

The stay on the old homestead was wonderful. The rooms are a mix of old and new, but still retain the flair of the past. The staff is super friendly. In addition, the breakfast buffet was very varied. There is something for everybody. Highly recommended!!!

The four of us were at the Fuhrmanns-Schänke last weekend. Two riders, two horses. It was a wonderful vacation! The bridle paths, the heathland, the waterways - it was as if everyone had prepared for their guests in a picture-perfect manner. We had good weather and no mosquitoes etc.The owners of the tavern go above and beyond the normal level of care for the well-being of their guests. So we were lucky and Norman accompanied us in his carriage on the day of arrival and showed us the most important contact points on the heath. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

We really enjoyed our holiday here with our own horse.There is everything you need:- ingenious riding trails that start directly at the stable (plaque can be borrowed free of charge for a deposit)- good accommodation for the horses (paddocks with shelter or boxes with free paddock access)- good hay and concentrated feed freely available- Tack room- Cleaning area- Spraying area- super delicious breakfast for the two-legged friendThe operators are absolutely friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. With the riding badge you can explore great riding trails, waterways and a lake for horses in the surrounding area. The heathland landscape in the immediate vicinity is another highlight for me. We had our terrace with a view of our horses' paddock.We really enjoyed it.The only drawback is the lack of network coverage in the area. The WiFi is also very slow and bad.

Lonely riding stable in the Südheide, directly on the Heidschnuckenweg. Only breakfast, no catering. Small communal kitchen with two ovens available. There is also a coffee corner in the guest rooms with a kettle, cups, etc.A nice idea when you arrive here on your hike.Room comfortably furnished with TV and refrigerator.

We were there in June of this year and I can only take my hat off to such a beautiful and well-kept piece of land in the Südheide. Very nice team, always ready to make everything possible for the guest. Well maintained. Beautiful rooms, super nice boxes, hay and straw and very good quality. Always for the benefit of the horses.A refrigerator in every room is great in the summer temperatures! The rooms are small and cute. I think the boxes, paddocks and open stable pastures are great and the service is very good. Breakfast buffet is good and more than sufficient, everything you need is there.
