Guests at the down-to-earth Hotel Schneehagen for one night with an adult and a teenager. The double room is small but nice with a bathroom, TV and WiFi, good mattresses and a bottle of water. Service was friendly and helpful and didn't seem fake at all. Food in the restaurant was very fresh and tasty, portions were generous, good price/performance ratio. In my opinion, the breakfast buffet was absolutely satisfactory. (You still have to pay attention to the really reasonable prices for the overall package.) Location of the hotel is great, wonderfully quiet - Serengetipark, Walsrode and the Heidepark can still be reached within 30 minutes by car. Hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. There are enough parking spaces, child-friendly. We can only recommend it and would come back at any time. 5 out of 5 stars.

Small rooms. Clean and fresh. Stylish restaurant with typical German menu. Good price picture for food. Quiet location in an older residential area. About 10 minutes from the motorway. €5 supplement for dog/dogs.

Everything was perfect here: from the friendliness at the reception to the beautiful, clean rooms themselves, the delicious dinner in the restaurant with the nice service, the wonderful breakfast right up to the departure - we diligently looked for something to complain about, but there was ABSOLUTELY nothing find! ;-)The electronic key cards made of bamboo are also a nice little touch.Thank you for a very pleasant stay!Gustav, Till and Ralf

Good hotel, friendly and good service, food very good, the boss was very friendly, only at least our beds were a bit too hard for our backs, but otherwise there was nothing that we found negative.

Bathroom could be improved if the ventilation was turned on. Unfortunately we had the problem when we showered early in the evening and there was still all the moisture in the bathroom.

We stayed here in an apartment for 4 people. The apartment was really nice, big and clean. The breakfast was also really tasty and if something was missing, you just had to ask and it would be brought to you straight away. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here. We would love to come back.

Me and my kids spent two days here, I enjoyed it very much. The rooms are nice but not my taste when, staying at a hotell but clean and functional, more a question of taste and expectations/opinions, still good. The people working there are nice/awesome, helpful and for us that don't speak fluent German, very good in English. The dinners we had was perfect, the kids loved the childrens menu and I really liked their schnitzel. I didn't feel that it was to pricey either. All in all I am happy we spent the evenings here and I recommend it strongly as long as you aren't looking for pool or similar facilities. Take a walk in the woods, I recommend it highly.
