Nice hotel on the Alb. OK for 1-2 days. Parking available. Rooms are ok but nothing special. A bit old. Bathroom very narrow and small. Access to the shower is difficult because a door is blocked.An absolute no-go these days is that dogs are not welcome. That's the reason why we wouldn't go there again.Sorry but 90% of dogs are better behaved than some children.Too bad. But if you need a hotel in a hurry, it's ok.

We stayed at the Hotel Post for 2 nights for a short vacation. On the first day we were warmly welcomed by the junior manager. We took advantage of the Early Wellness offer - very nice sauna area with a quiet and cozy relaxation room - water and tea bar very appealing. The superior room was very attractive and spacious. Unfortunately, the required topper was missing from the box spring bed - the top mattress was very hard and uncomfortable - so the night's sleep was correspondingly poor. We asked the next morning to get a topper - the staff member said there wasn't one available at the moment and you would have to mention this when booking. How can I know when booking that the necessary topper is missing? After asking the junior manager a second time in the afternoon, a blanket was put under us - slight improvement but not good - not satisfactory.The service and food in the in-house restaurant was very good and appealing. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very tasty.When we checked out the bill was presented to us - we paid - that was it. No question as to whether everything was OK - no "come visit us again" - very reserved.

I was surprised by this hotel. It was unexpected, the hotel was so clean, very comfortable, cozy, there's also a large parking lot. The breakfast was really nice.

I was here from September 30th to October 4th, 2024, it was great. The staff was very nice and friendly, everything was explained straight away. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels were also changed even on public holidays. Food at its finest. Extra requests were taken into account. Also lactose free and vegan. I always come here. Thank you very much

We spent our honeymoon here and at the beginning we received a very nice surprise from the Gekeler family. The service was always very friendly, very attentive and accommodating. Every meal was very tasty. Because of its freshness and specialness, the breakfast buffet tasted more than good and gave us a great boost for the day. As well as the 3-course menu in the evening, every day was again special and very tasty and unusual. It was a very nice honeymoon, which we were able to enjoy not only in terms of cuisine, but also in the area with the Alb Card! We ended the days in the hotel's own spa area (so it wasn't that bad that we had a lot of rain).We are already looking forward to the next vacation, maybe it will work out for our first wedding anniversary :)

It was a very pleasant stay. The food was fantastic and the kitchen outdid itself every day. The breakfast was very tasty and everything was very fresh. I particularly liked the juicer, which you could use to squeeze your own juice.The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The superior room offers enough space, even on bad weather days.The wellness area is the optimal size and was never overcrowded. We were able to relax in the sauna and relax in the whirlpool.The staff was very friendly and willing to fulfill all possible wishes.We are very satisfied and look forward to our next vacation in Hotel Post :)Then the Albcard gave us lots of activities and places to visit nearby.

We are already repeat offenders - several times! We were very impressed by both the price-performance ratio of the hotel and the location. The hotel is ideally located for all kinds of excursions! Service is wonderful. The food is delicious and the rooms are great. The free use of the sauna is also great! We keep coming back!

Wow!I was surprised!I was a guest on site for two nights because I was invited to an anniversary party a few towns away!I thought it was a small village hotel,However, the hotel is quite large!My room was spacious and even had a balcony! The wishes stated when making the reservation were taken into account.At check-in I was helped to unload and there is a luggage trolley!The breakfast was delicious and rich and, above all, fresh ingredients were used, as well as homemade jams!!Cleanliness was great. There was friendliness. All in all a great stay!Clear recommendation and outstanding price/performance ratio!
