Despite the rain, we had a lovely 5 days at the Ketterer guesthouse. Great clean, spacious room. Ms. Ketterer and team were very friendly, nice, helpfulBreakfast was very tasty, plentiful and prepared with a lot of love.Sauna area small but nice.You can choose the infusion yourself. My girlfriend and I were in Hinterzarten for a weekend and chose the Gästehaus Ketterer - a perfect choice! Very kind hostess, delicious hearty breakfast, cozy and clean rooms. And you can walk to “Downtown” in 3 minutes ☺️We'd love to come back!

We spent 3 nights in the Ketterer guesthouse and were thrilled. The room, the breakfast room, the whole house, everything was sparkling clean. The beds are very good, we slept wonderfully. The breakfast offering left nothing to be desired, from cereal to sausage, cheese, jam and cake, everything was there. And Ms. Ketterer-Podewski refilled everything immediately. She also gave us very good tips for hikes, train connections, inns, etc.We are completely satisfied

I was a guest for a week in July in the smallest but also very cozy and clean room. The bathroom was also completely sufficient and very clean.The service is really top!The bed was a dream and the breakfast was prepared with a lot of love every morning. The sauna is also recommended. There are great shopping opportunities nearby and nature invites you to explore. You can reach almost everything by train. I will definitely come back for the next hiking holiday.

Absolutely top! 👍🏻I spent 4 nights here. It's rustic but clean. Price-performance fits 1000%. Nothing is missing.The breakfast is awesome; On Sundays there are also scrambled eggs. If something is empty, it will be refilled immediately.Satisfaction is very important to Ms. Ketterer and that becomes clear here.Thank you very much for this great stay; it certainly wasn't the last. 🙏

Yesterday I was traveling through on my motorbike and urgently needed somewhere to stay in Hinterzarten in the evening. The nice lady on the phone said I could come over straight away because she still had a room available for me. And what can I say? A nice and clean room. I slept well and had a very good breakfast the next morning. Thank you for the spontaneous hospitality. I'd love to come back next time!!

Clean, lovingly furnished house, delicious breakfast! Really friendly hosts. I had the smallest single room with a balcony for 2 nights. It's cute and completely sufficient, only the bathroom is really very small. Nevertheless, I would take it again because it's only sufficient for overnight stays. Good mattress. I'd love to come back.

Arrived at 7 pm. Clean room, 2 balconies, great view. The beds are good. I did not have breakfast at the pension. You are on your own there.The train station is about a 7-minute walk and so is the centre of the village (church, bakery, supermarket, butcher, restaurants etc). I assume there are buses but the Flixbus no longer stops at this place (the nearest place is Titisee or Freiburg).It's a great place to hike but it is hard to make contact. There are mainly elderly people.Note: although promised the special public transport card for tourists was not received, although, the info was sent by e-mail in advance.

We stayed in the inn for two nights and felt very comfortable. Very quiet and well located, the breakfast was very lovingly prepared and nice conversations with the owners make the stay very familiar.Price performance more than top. Even after the first night, the room was prepared again by the maid without asking.Thanks for the hospitality

We were here from December 30th to January 2nd, 2023 - everything was really perfect - beautiful rooms, a varied breakfast buffet with regional products, enriched with fruit salad and on public holidays with other own creations, you just feel comfortable here in a casual atmosphere Enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet - we'll be back - even without snow, Hinterzarten and its surroundings offer a variety of opportunities to experience nature and experience a variety of impressions
