The modern apartment is perfectly connected to public transport. The culinary impressions are breathtaking.A larger city can be reached in a few minutes on foot.We were also impressed by the barrier-free architecture of the luxury resort.Gladly again🧢(To be early I couldn't have endured it without snuff)

Unfortunately, the location is very remote in the middle of the forest, and unfortunately there is no lighting on the forest path with lots of potholes.Otherwise the house is very nice and modern with good WiFi. Food is great too.The showers are unfortunately a bit dirty and narrow, but bearable.

Great house!Everything was clean and tidy. The handover was carried out by friendly staff and went smoothly. The food isn't worth 5 stars but it's perfectly fine for a youth hostel. You have everything you need nearby. The children at the confirmation camp really enjoyed it!

We spent a week at Knappenberg. At the Neukirchen train station we were warmly welcomed by the house staff, given a free luggage transport service and a detailed explanation of the hiking trail to the youth center. It is a very beautiful landscape, the hiking was very worth it. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the house. When we arrived at the house, a warm lunch and a very friendly welcome from the house manager awaited us. Staff is accommodating and very nice, the food was great! A varied menu, also vegetarian and even vegan if desired! My severe pepper intolerance was taken seriously and I really liked it.Right from the start, we noticed the wonderful location in the middle of the forest, simply fantastic. The foyer is equipped with a pool table and an open upper floor, offering plenty of space for many leisure activities. The inviting rooms create a great, communal atmosphere in the group. The large group room offers space for all imaginable activities, be it chilling out with a movie night or topic-related work, doing crafts at the tables or simply sitting in a circle with a discussion group. The house provides a lot of materials for organizing these activities. The bedrooms have 4-6 beds, the luxury rooms have 1 or 3 beds and their own bathroom. Is very comfortable! We had a really great time at the rocket building workshop. The tinkering, the creative work is something for everyone, I've never done it like that before and it was really cool. We had good guidance from the staff so that no questions remained unanswered. The wellness program in the forest is educational in a very pleasant way. We were given a lot of freedom; it had a very meditative character, which also gave our group food for thought about the environment and sustainability.According to the management, the WiFi was recently renewed and works very well. All participants were given access, but because of the nice atmosphere we only spent a little time on our cell phones. If you had to go online to check emails, it worked great. The chapel is really beautiful, I found it hard to believe that it was built by young people, but the beautiful pictures in the chapel show impressions of it and bring a certain magic to this space. We enjoyed spending time together in this special room. All in all, I spent an extremely nice week at Knappenberg and am already looking forward to my next stay.

We spent a wonderful weekend in beautiful nature!
The house has beautiful shared rooms, two group rooms, a winter garden and a few small, cozy relaxation rooms/sofa corners.
Food was great (also vegetarian for us) and the staff was really nice and helpful :)
Looking forward to the next visit!
Wi-Fi available throughout the house.

Completely at the end of the world, 15 minutes walk through the forest to the parking lot (because of course you're not allowed to park in front of the house, only the team leaders). No infrastructure anywhere. Rooms seem uncleaned, only 2 toilets and 2 showers on one level for about 10 rooms for 6 people each. 2 sockets for 6 people. No room keys!!! And above all: no WiFi. This is withheld with the excuse that work is being done on a wider range. No cell phone reception!!! Absolute isolation, the biggest nightmare!Addendum: we also had bugs in the room. Nature or not, this is disgusting.

If you go there expecting a 5 star hotel, then of course it doesn't live up to your expectations.Getting to the house isn't a big deal at 10 minutes walk and the "view" is nice.Since there is no cell phone network or only in a few places, it is a nice place to retreat. Sometimes you just need distance from other people and also from your smartphone. When the right people are there, you'll be happy to put your cell phone away. The toilets and showers were well maintained and sufficient, as there were 2 showers and 3 toilets on each of two floors.I spent a lovely week there and would happily spend a week there again as long as no negative people come my way.

Were there for 5 days. Food was very good, staff friendly. Archery was also great. Nice house, but I didn't find the rooms very nice. The beds were hard and the heating turns off in the evenings, so you feel cold while sleeping. The shower was very small. WiFi was available, but we were not given the password. Only the group leaders. According to them, the WiFi was also very bad. As a teenager you should have the opportunity to access the Internet. There was a telephone at the entrance so I could at least call my parents. The house is very remote and you have to walk about 30 - 45 minutes to get to the house from the train station. You are not allowed to park your car directly in front of the house.
