Rooms are clean, but need to be renovated, also because they are very noisy, especially for the price. The service and location are great, the breakfast is lavish and delicious!

Cozy room, no more and no less amenities than you would expect. Great atmosphere. The breakfast was great, there was a buffet. The staff was super nice and accommodating, and they also spoke perfect English. We were very happy.

I stayed in a single room which was very small and it was a little weird to have the shower in the bedroom. I also found the mattress a bit too soft. Make sure to bring earplugs to sleep if you plan to sleep after breakfast had started. Otherwise no complaints. Self check in was easy, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Great location and very affordable.

Very nice guest house where you get value for your money. Simple, clean, friendly. I recommend this guest house to anyone who wants to spend the night in the area. We slept wonderfully, the only thing we regretted was that the internet was not stable enough for Netflix. However, I suspect that this has nothing to do with the good intentions of the guest house, but more with the possibility on location. The breakfast is very good, a real treat. As a previous guest indicated here in the reviews; unpretentious good guest house that does what it should do.

We were only there for 1 night because we were passing through.The rooms are ok. The bathroom is very very small, but at least you have your own bathroom in the room.The breakfast is very good and the owner is super friendly and helpful.

I absolutely don't understand the positive reviews...Family pension, it is true, well placed on the very pretty Lake Titisee even if I nevertheless much preferred Lake Schluchsee. Parking available right outside (fairly limited spaces when I arrived late in the evening).We had booked a room but unfortunately my traveling partner had an unexpected death in their family. There was absolutely no empathy from the owners (who could not be reached by telephone for several days and several attempts). No refund possible because I quote "we can't afford to lose money". Which I can understand. We were forced to take a family room for 2 (the only one available at the time of our reservation) which therefore cost us a lot and no commercial gesture on their part (a few euros for nothing at all would have been, because I understand that a late cancellation causes problems in re-renting but just for the principle, a small reduction in costs, however minimal it may be, would have been appreciated! The other room rented for our 3rd night elsewhere was canceled without any problem and with the added bonus of a note! kindness on their part which was greatly appreciated by my friend who was going through a difficult ordeal.That aside, I therefore attended the stay (spacious room: 2 people for a space of 5 planned at the same time) but layer of thick dust, mattress of the double bed with a huge hole in the middle which prevents passage of a good night restorative, soap which was vegetating in the bathroom given the color I did not dare to use it, empty hand soap, kitchen which actually makes you feel very comfortable like at home but very basic breakfast (coffee in powder bags, bottom of bottles with powder sticking..., as for the 24-hour open buffet which they advertise, in terms of food it's chips and lollipops... but cold drinks in the fridge actually which make well after a hike).Pets accepted (large dog when we arrived which barked late at night), so great for them to be able to stay there and great for their owners but complicated for phobics. However, they are prohibited in the living room.At the time of payment, the owner who told me about the loss of tourist tax for 3 people who were absent was the last straw.I spent 2 nights there and I will not return or recommend it given the high price for the service given although very well located. You will find better.

A nice little guesthouse at fair prices. The single room is quite tiny, but has a relatively large balcony. If you just need somewhere to sleep, that's more than enough. The breakfast is rich and very cheap, and you also have 24-hour access to the breakfast room, where you can get small snacks and cold and hot drinks for free. The whole thing is rounded off by the very friendly hosts. Payment is also very easy with cash, EC or credit card.

Nice, unpretentious pension in a good location. The forest 100m away for walks. Dogs are accepted! Some rooms with balcony. The tourist center of Titisee is within walking distance but the pension is quiet.

The rooms were a bit small but clean.The service was very friendly and the breakfast was really great for the price.The location: 5 minutes walk to the promenade and 3 minutes to Lake Titisee. Restaurants and cafes can all be reached in 10 minutes on foot.There is no elevator and you have to walk about 20 flights of stairs to the first floor.Basically I would check in there again for 2 days.Best regards
