This is a magical place, when I arrived 2 majestic friendly horses came toward me. The house is in a farm with ducks chickens and goats, the view is fantastic. There is a balcony in the room. Breakfast is excellent. The hostess immediately bought vegan substitutes for my roommate's vegan needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sedlmayrhof in Rottach-Egern. The hosts are very nice and the apartments and apartments are extremely well maintained. The wonderful landscape completes the whole thing perfectly. The breakfast was very good. We'd love to come back. Keep it up!

We, a young couple, were guests at the Sedlmayrhof for the second time and were once again more than satisfied.Our holiday apartment on the 1st floor was clean, equipped with everything you needed and rustic but totally cozy and lovingly furnished. You really feel at home.The location is wonderful. Totally quiet location, but you can still be in the center of town or right by the lake in just a few minutes' walk.The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful, with everything on it.The farm and guest house offer a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect to escape the stressful everyday life :)The authors of the negative reviews are probably the people who didn't get accommodation in their 5* star bunker and don't know what a farm is ;)With this in mind: We would love to come back! :)

Contrary to all the negative reviews, we were greeted in a very friendly and courteous manner.The guest house is very centrally located and is equipped with all the necessary accessories. Extra requests could be made at any time. The hosts were very fond of children and were open to all questions about the animals and the farm.The breakfast is an absolute recommendation. Nothing was missing and wishes could be expressed here at any time.Conclusion: We would love to come back.

Guest house/farm is a bit older. The room needs to be renovated (the light on the bed is outdated, the curtain rod is porous.) Ms. Hagen was always friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Luckily we only had one night in a very small room with a 60s look sink opposite the bed, when you sit on the toilet and stretch your legs your feet were in the shower. Everything was very unclean, including the carpet in the breakfast room, breakfast was served barefoot. We had transferred the money and were still asked after breakfast how we would like to pay, whether cash or card. Luckily we had the transfer receipt with us.

Wonderful guest room ... all paneled with wood ... pure Bavaria ... just as we imagined it ... very nice innkeepers ... breakfast great ... just a 5-minute walk from the town center ...

A small room with a kitchen, cloakroom etc. Everything was really unclean. Spider webs in every corner. The equipment in the kitchen is catastrophic. There was only a wine glass, plates, glasses all of different types. Price-performance ratio is not right (80 euros per night). We are often in Rottach Egern and have never experienced anything like this. We booked the accommodation because everything else was fully booked in August.

Price and performance don't match, the apartment was fine, the hygiene in the shower left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was just the bare minimum. Service also left a lot to be desired. The mattresses were also worn out.

We have been satisfied guests in this family-run accommodation for several years. This year - thanks to Corona - already 4 times. We have always received a friendly and courteous welcome. The value for money and the location are very good. We especially love having breakfast on the balcony with a view of the Wallberg (with local specialties, available just around the corner).We are already looking forward to our next vacation there.

Top price-performance ratio!For the location and the average price level there, the price is commensurate with the performance.I can't understand the complaints about the operators and didn't experience anything comparable on my fifth stay. The farmer's wife is very busy. This is inevitable in a real agricultural operation and NOT a holiday farm. For guests looking for down-to-earth accommodation, the guest house with the apartments is particularly recommended.
