Beautiful and quiet location in the countryside near Pottenstein. Exceptionally warm host couple who are always available to help and advise and look after their guests individually. A clear recommendation not only for families with children!

Gasthaus Zum Schneider: A Great Experience in NatureWe stayed with seven people for four days at Gasthaus Zum Schneider in Mandlau, Germany. Our two rented apartments were comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect: in the middle of nature, yet close to shops.The highlight of our stay was the delicious food at Zum Schneider. We ate there three times and were always surprised by the tasty dishes and friendly service. The breakfast was also excellent, with many choices.The area offers beautiful walking opportunities. Pottenstein, a picturesque town in Bavaria, is especially worth a visit. The tranquility and natural beauty make this an ideal holiday destination.In short, Gasthaus Zum Schneider is recommended for those who want to enjoy nature, good food and hospitality. We'd love to come back!

Great Dutch inn with an interesting combination of Dutch food and the best Franconian beers.The beer garden, which faces greenery, in particular, offers a relaxed visit to the beer garden for families with children. Delicious food, nice people. Highly recommended.

I don't understand how a Dutch inn that advertises that it doesn't serve Franconian food and whose owners obviously benefit from freedoms within the EU can support a party that is against foreigners and the EU. Anyone who supports rights loses cosmopolitan guests! We're staying away from now on.Even though the reaction was supposedly immediate, there were tents with AFD members in the parking lot and several patrol cars on site. The event in question probably took place despite an immediate reaction.

Good Dutch food and super friendly staff! The boss is super relaxed and easy to talk to and always gets help.The apartment is clean and appears to have been newly renovated. We are traveling with 4 adults and a small child and are very satisfied.The breakfast is rich and offers enough choice.

If you want to try something new, you've come to the right place. The inn offers Dutch/Mexican dishes. Among other things, there is delicious draft beer from surrounding small breweries. There are parking spaces and overnight accommodation/holiday apartments available. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We spent an unforgettable weekend with our parents and in-laws at the Gasthaus zum Schneider with Angelique and Remi and for this purpose we booked the three holiday apartments for two days/nights.The two run the accommodation and the associated restaurant (with many delicious Dutch specialties) together with their daughter and son-in-law and have brought the entire property into shape with dedication and passion over the last few years or are still doing so. You can tell that this is basically their calling and that in this way they are living their dream in the 42-inhabitant village of Mandlau.Due to its remoteness, you have to rely on your car for almost all activities (Pottenstein is a good 5 minutes away) and some people may see that as a disadvantage, but in our case it was exactly the opposite.With renewed and beautiful furnishings, the holiday apartments offer everything you need for a shorter or longer stay; two of them also have a balcony at the back of the house. The kitchenette is equipped with, among other things, a large refrigerator and a microwave. If you wish, you can have a simple, delicious breakfast to start the day strengthened.But the highlight is definitely the hospitality you experience here. This begins with making contact immediately before arrival, continues with the greeting immediately upon arrival and culminates in the conviviality and warm-heartedness that you experience here throughout. Right from the start you feel welcome and part of the family. Another reason for us to definitely come here again.
