The Landpension Pleissenaue is really worth a visit. You arrive at the large farm and behind the house there is a paddock.The rooms are simple but cozy and very tidy. Every now and then you hear a horse neighing or a goat bleating or a rooster crowing. So pure country atmosphere.Very close by (a few minutes on foot) is Lake Markkleeberger, where you can swim wonderfully. The Cospudener and Störmtaler lakes can also be reached very quickly by bike or car.We received a very friendly welcome and were well looked after.We'll definitely be back.

Ideal for wonderful days - even with children!Idyllic, well-kept 3 side farm (with great horses)!Very nice owner! Clean, spacious rooms with everything you need! The breakfast was delicious - there was everything you wanted and it was lovingly prepared! You can sit outside again in the evening and have a drink! The location is great! You can reach the city, the lakes, the zoo, etc. very quickly. We would have liked to have stayed longer and will definitely recommend you! Maybe come back again! It was really great!!!

The guesthouse is about 7 minutes' walk from Lake Markleeberger. But it's worth renting a bike or taking your own. The area is almost flat and it's really fun to just stop and jump into the lake at any point. The tram is also just around the corner. Now to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is well maintained and large. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is big enough. (Info: no hairdryer and no hand soap at the sink) but towels are there for everyone. Beds are comfortable and not worn out. We slept really well. Our neighbors are horses, sheep and I think I heard chickens too. The thing that bothers me and a bit annoys me after 4 days is the breakfast! We get it every day! Stupid old baked rolls (which were also baked twice) from consumption even though the bakery is around the corner. The coffee is tasty, sausage and cheese are also from the fresh pack, in pre-packaged small containers. Little fresh e.g. cucumber etc. But a small colorful fruit bowl brightens up the buffet. No muesli or natural yoghurt, just other fruit yoghurt. I thought it was a shame from the guesthouse, because at least fresh bread rolls would have been possible! The guesthouse is well attended and usually full, so we were lucky. Otherwise we liked it very much.

Wonderful place to unwind. View of the horse farm, close to a beautiful lake. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Service was A+ with stars, very friendly, approachable and attentive. You can quickly get to the exhibition center or the center by car or public transport. We felt completely at home, absolute recommendation!

A very nice welcome from the landlady and always time to answer questions on the following days. Very well located, you can quickly cycle to the lake. Breakfast very rich. You can also hire bicycles.

Beautiful farm country guesthouse with friendly owners, where all wishes are fulfilled if possible. We would love to come here again for vacation. It's not far to the lake either

A wonderful, lovingly run guesthouse. From booking to departure you feel like you are in good hands. The horses on the run behind the house bring great joy to the children.The rooms for families are large and comfortable. The guesthouse is only a 5-10 minute walk from the “beach”.You can book breakfast as well, it is rich and is always replenished quickly.We enjoyed being here and would love to come back.

Small but nice! Very friendly landlady! The family room is a decent size so that the little ones can spread out. The breakfast buffet was rather small in terms of selection, but there was at least one small special feature every day, so there was variety. There are also enough parking spaces directly in front of the guesthouse. There are lots of animals, so even little horse fans will get their money's worth. Directly in 5 minutes. Walking distance is Lake Markkleeberger, with a swimming area, (expensive) restaurants, playground, sandy beach, boat trip... Belantis is also just a stone's throw away. Shopping opportunities are also available (consumption). You can get to the city center by tram (note, no more city zone) or by S-Bahn from Markkleeberger train station (there are plenty of semi-legal parking options there).One point of criticism I have to mention is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. You can hear the guests walking around very clearly above you. The bathroom in the family room is also getting a bit old. Please remember to pack a hairdryer!

Absolute recommendation! We booked at super short notice and everything worked smoothly. The room was very well maintained and clean and the furnishings were absolutely sufficient - we had the family room. The breakfast was very tasty. The location of the guesthouse is also perfect - less than a 5 minute walk and we were at the lake. Hospitality is very important here!

A good starting point for walks by the water, or for water sports enthusiasts and to visit Leipzig. There are pleasant rooms in the great ambience of the horse farm and the price is ok.
