We were guests at the Ehranger Hof for 3 nights and had originally booked the deluxe room with sauna and whirlpool bathtub for 200 euros per night.When we arrived we had to pay the full amount straight away, only to be told 2 minutes later by the lady at reception that the bathtub wasn't working. Ok, slightly annoying, but as an apology we were offered a bottle of wine on the house with dinner, which was fine with us at first. However, when we were escorted to the room and found ourselves in front of a "chamber" behind the kitchen, the understanding was over. The sauna was an infrared cabin and, as I said, our room was behind the kitchen and in an inner courtyard where goods were wheeled past in trolleys and the staff smoked...After the first night we complained to the owner of the hotel at reception. On the positive side, he was very accommodating and immediately offered us the junior suite. However, the whole time we had the impression that the whole system was working and that they first tried to sell the "junk room" for expensive money, only to then offer the room that was actually intended when there was a complaint.However, the junior suite was great. With a large corner bathtub and Finnish sauna and your own terrace. There was nothing to complain about here.What you can't say about the restaurant or breakfast. The breakfast buffet was very rich for 3 stars, but the whole buffet really left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness, especially the coffee machine and the glasses. But the tables weren't cleaned either. The floor only from the hotel dog Dobby.All in all, we wouldn't visit the hotel again.

My sister and I spent a very nice weekend in the hotel. Breakfast was great, the boss and his staff were very friendly. There was also a 3-course menu and the recommended wine was very tasty. The room was large and spacious so nothing to complain about.Kind regards Gabi and DaniYou're doing great.

This is not a "hotel", but rather an unorganized youth hostel in the form of a hotel.Far too many negative things have happened that have no place in a hotel business.You can save on hotel parking spaces. Lots available on the street

Was completely sufficient for 2 nights. Rooms were clean and completely fine, although a bit noisy. Breakfast is completely sufficient. Nice staff. Elevator and refrigerator on the ground floor for quick thirst breaks.

Top rooms in the new building, modernly furnished.Large bathroom, everything clean plus a small terrace with a view of the hillside.The location directly on the Trier center thoroughfare and opposite Ehrang train station is less inspiring.A trip to the city of Trier is a challenge because of the many construction sites and requires a lot of patienceBut the committed, young hotel owners can't do that🤭🤗

Absolutely not recommended!I can't remember ever having a worse night's sleep. The room was small, stuffy and hot. There was an extremely bad smell of sewage in the bathroom. Sleeping was out of the question with the window open, as the street is used to demonstrate horsepower even late at night. Apart from these shortcomings, the price-performance ratio is absolutely underground. For a single room over 100 euros I expect significantly more, even in Germany, which is plagued by inflation and dehoga.

We are leaving tomorrow but I can really recommend this hotel.The rooms are really nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly 👍. When I asked for instant coffee (for the room), the staff got it for me the next day. We had a lovely, unfortunately too short time here.

We were guests in this house at the end of May 2024. I have never experienced such bad service. Not only did the manager of the house refuse to check in 15 minutes before the official time and then demand payment for the room in advance, there was a long wait to order drinks and food. Staff had to be found to look after guests during breakfast time. Room service wasn't even done, there doesn't seem to be a broom or mop. The bathroom and sanitary facilities are largely defective. Other guests also shared this view. Where the good reviews come from is a mystery. Finally, praise for the kitchen: although the staff was understaffed, the food was good. Conclusion: Not recommended!!

Just a sticky display with a crosscode in the room doesn't work!Poorly cleaned mirrors and dusty heating or air conditioning that couldn't be operated!Service nice but unskilled, not careful2Women do whatever they can but there is no prudence.Beds are not made, rubbish in the bucket in the room is not disposed of - sinks and showers are not cleaned, cosmetic tissue box is empty - is not refilled!Rooms very warm, ventilation hardly possible - because the street and the train station opposite were very loud.Location: very ugly, no possibility to have a drink somewhere in the evening - the hotel no longer offers any service after 10 p.m., only a refrigerator with a limited selection of drinks.Parking opposite the train station for a fee - too expensive - better to park for free on the streetConclusion - not recommended - never again

We spent a short vacation there and I have to say everything was perfect! I've read through the reviews here before and I can't understand a single bad one!!!! It was clean and comfortable and everyone was very attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty. I can only recommend it. We will definitely come back. Big praise to the staff who were so committed. And dear people, please remember that you too are people who can't do more than work. And if a speck of dust has been found somewhere, think about whether there is no dust in your home and whether you keep everything sterile????🤔😏
