We stayed one night at NYCE and it was a great experience.
Rooms were clean, staff was very nice.
I left my wallet and they reached out to me and helped me coordinate getting it back. Would stay here again for sure!

Were very disappointed with the room.Bathroom very dusty, curtains were broken and the material of the chair was torn. The television connection had many problems and therefore no clear picture.Many homeless people/drug addicts gather in front of the door.For the price we paid, we expected a little more.

Rooms are ok but you can hear the doors slamming in the morning. Staff is rather unprofessional and the stairwells and elevators are shabby. There are junkies piling up outside the door at all times of the day

Unfortunately I can only warn against this house. (NYCE Thiergalerie and NYCE are one house)You are part of the Centro Hotel Management Group, which in our opinion values capital over reputation.We had booked one night and found a room that was simply dirty. Strange hairs on the sheets, a sticky, greasy shower tray and black dirt stains on the bed linen. We complained about this. We were offered a new room in a relatively unfriendly manner, but based on the picture we experienced, we concluded that there was a general culture in which the guest is a walking wallet. Our opinion should be confirmed.The later complaint to the group mentioned did not give the impression that they felt responsible in any way. We were assumed to be leaving without having spoken to the staff on site about the situation. Only after an urgent appeal in an email exchange were we offered a “remuneration without acknowledgment of a legal obligation” in the amount of an outrageous few percent.We decided not to do that and instead wrote this warning.Unfortunately, we fell victim to beautiful images when choosing NYCE.For the sake of completeness: The path from the NYCE Thiergalerie to the reception (in the other building) leads through a piece of the pedestrian zone, in which, in our opinion, there are more drug victims than healthy people. This impression has stayed with us.We can, however, highly recommend the Moxy in Dortmund. This was our alternative, which is only a few meters away from notNYCE. There is even enough parking space there.

The hotel stated that check-in was at 3 o'clock. I waited from 2 o'clock until 3:30 and was still told that there was no room because the previous guest had not checked out. In the end, I waited for an hour and a half before I was checked in. At least 3 room checked when I am waiting. And There are No compensation measures

Although the rooms are comfortable and the hotel is well located, I Cannot recommend this hotel because of their breakfast. It was the only thing I ate that day and had a food poisoning that lasted for four days. After signalling that there was an issue with the products served, the hotel replied that "no other guests had made complaints"... This is not the way a hotel should deal with warnings about their food safety.

The hotel is opposite a drop-in center for drug addicts. There are yunkies hanging out everywhere and people are constantly begging you. As a woman, you don't dare go out alone.The owners are very friendly; We were able to change rooms without any problems after we had a room facing the street, which was very noisy.The rooms are ok; unfortunately no fridge.

The hotel has 2 houses. Once NYCE CITY and the NYCE Thiergalerie. We were at the gallery. The rooms are nice and modernly furnished. There's nothing to complain about. The only drawback is the location. There is a drug help center opposite the hotel. So you run into addicts 24/7. But you won't notice any of this in the room itself. It's a 1-minute walk from the city center, which is also very practical. You can definitely come here again for a weekend trip.

The check-in was not in the building where we were supposed to stay, we had to go around the building to go to another building. The room is pretty but little space, lacks a mini bar, there wasn't even a bottle of water to welcome us to the room. The street where the hotel is located is very busy with drug addicts and is very noisy. We had trouble sleeping in peace and when you go out they are all in a group around the hotel, an unsecured place.
