On a hike we stopped for drinks and ice cream in the Leithenmühle garden. The tables were easily rearranged to form a large table and the service was quick and friendly. Take your time to linger, discover and relax, because that's easily possible in this beautiful spot.

After a nice walk through the forest, fields and past great paddocks, we stopped at the Leithenmühle and had lunch there. (with a school introduction company)It's incredibly cozy in the lovingly furnished, idyllic garden, you don't know what to enjoy first.Food and drinks are not everyday but very tasty and appealing and there is something for everyone.The inn couple is very nice, friendly and accommodating.We haven't had such a relaxed and delicious meal in a long time.It's a shame that I live so far away from this beautiful piece of earth. Otherwise I would be a regular.

A restaurant in a very beautiful landscape. Outdoor seating in the beautiful garden under the trees. According to the menu, classic dishes are a little vegetarian. There is also coffee and cake. (No overnight stay)

Unfortunately the hospitality is very poor. Apart from Bockwurst and Rolade for 18.70 euros, there were no other dishes.

It is a bit difficult to find, because it is somewhat remote. The path down can only be done on foot, so not by car. We had a delicious meal there. A real winner. The garden is lovely and the service is very good. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food in a beautiful location.

The Schanzenbachtal is truly a picturesque gem, the beautiful Leithenmühle is idyllically located right in the middle. A hodgepodge of tinnef, a few tables and chairs, homemade food at ambitious prices, that's what awaits the guest when they follow their instinct, ignore numerous prohibition signs and enter the property. So, as thirsty hikers, we headed for the only free table without a reservation sign on May 1, 23. Unfortunately, this table was quickly declared as reserved and you were asked to wait. Unfortunately, after waiting we didn't get another seat or the offer of a quick drink while standing. It was explained to us in detail that without a reservation there would be no space available, only two people in service, in general, you always have to reserve in advance. The six of us stood there like reprimanded idiots. During the time of instruction, six bottles of beer could have changed hands quickly; the economic benefit for the mill operators and the satisfaction of the thirsty hikers could have been in harmony. Too much subjunctive. We would have only stayed for a short time anyway; But like this, we definitely won't be coming back.

After a nice walk with the dog, we wanted to have coffee in the Leitenmühle. You think! After 20 minutes we had enough space for the staff, even though there were enough people there and the guests all had their orders. We then left frustrated. We've been there three times for birthday parties and occasional meals because it's so idyllic. We were very upset.

I didn't even know there were such beautiful places in our area. The weather was perfect, as was the ambience and the area. I can only recommend it. The only slight disappointment was they only take cash
