You can't really take these two bad reviews seriously!!It was my first time there and I'm totally convinced that it deserves a positive rating!You will receive a warm welcome, the staff are not only nice but also competent and clean, the food tastes excellent and is also, to the eye, excellently prepared, the rooms (including the toilets) are clean!!I wish the entire team much success and continued success!!See you soon 👍🏼

We were there for dinner and, as connoisseurs of Portuguese cuisine, we were very satisfied. We had bacalhau and seafood skewer, a mixed appetizer platter, crème caramel and mousse de chocolate for dessert.The starter platter was plentiful and with a delicious combination of cheese and fine ham or salami. The bacalhau and seafood skewer were outstanding. Shrimp and cuttlefish perfectly cooked on a skewer. The same applies to the Bacalhau.Mousse and crème caramel also very tasty, the cream not too sweet.The prices are reasonable and not too high for what is on offer.The service from the boss is very pleasant, friendly, attentive, good advice without ever being intrusive.We would have been happy to receive a small farewell greeting from the house.Nevertheless, from our very critical point of view, the deer is highly recommended for all lovers of Portuguese cuisine! We will be happy to come back!

The new staff at the restaurant also impressed with very good taste and quality.But the portions!I can do a lot of plastering, but I haven't managed it and probably most people haven't. Therefore, for purely ecological reasons, I would recommend slightly smaller portions.The picture doesn't convey the true size; you can guess the size of the "bowl" from the tankard or the bread basket.The name of the Portuguese dish is "Francesinha" or something similar.This is something like a Portuguese "Quatro Burger" with several layers of different types of grilled meat, bacon, sausages, gratinated with cheese. When it's ready, add a fried egg on top.Plus delicious sauce and fries

A real recommendation, it's nice to have such a great restaurant in Gültlingen!You can tell that everything from the furnishings to the offerings to the service to the food is made with a lot of love and passion. There is always a special on Saturdays, today we had a very tasty Peka with veal. All in all very authentic and cozy, even with children.The cuisine is fresh and homemade, the portions are generous, everything is absolutely worth the money!Update August 2024: A recommendation even under the new concept! Even more child-friendly than before. Delicious food, interesting mix of Croatian and Portuguese specialties on the menu. You feel very comfortable and welcome, authentic Mediterranean flair.

Fortunately, we didn't let the recent, sometimes bad, recessions stop us from visiting the Hirsch under new management. The food was great. Visually a blast and also delicious. The price is not cheap but reasonable. We will be back. Recommended.
